    I loved seeing these, Kit. They inspired both technique and creative ideas… a perfect storm. Thanks!

    Really creative idea for mark making tools. I look forward to trying my hand with the glue gun.

      Happy gluing! I am not very good with a glue gun but good enough to work with toilet paper rolls!

    Good morning, Kit. Thank you for sharing this process. Isn’t fantastic to create such beautiful patterns with the simplest of tools. Another very inspiring video. Do you place your tissue shiny side up or down? Also, I am waiting on the delivery of my large plate now. I read there is not a clam shell with this size. Do you store yours or cover it between uses? Enjoy your day! Once again, thank you for your response about where to purchase the tissue. I too ordered some from Staples!😊

      My Spectra tissue doesn't really have a shiny or dull side. When I was in Northern Manitoba and ran out of Spectra, I bought some white gift wrap. It had a shiny side. I used both :) The big plate doesn't have a clam shell. I have mine out on a table (on a piece of white paper) and I cover it with white paper when not in use. Keep the cardboard box it comes in, incase you don't want to leave it out.

    Hi kit, is the tissue paper acid free? Golden Open paints are great for the geli
    plate aren't they ❤

      I find the Golden Open paint opens up a whole new range of possibilities! Yes, the Spectra Art Tissue is acid free.

    You mentioned “to the sink”- ? Acrylics and water supply. Must be a better way to rinse the stencils.

      I am lucky that my current printing workspace has a sink. Prior to that I used a small tub with water in it. I would rinse off the stencils and brayer in that.

      @@KitBellArtist I was thinking more of water supply contamination

      @KitBellArtist  Před měsícem

      @@user-mh8ee6nt8n I haven't had any issues with that. And, of course, the stencils and brayers are dried thoroughly before using again.

    Can you use fabrics

      You can print directly onto fabric. This is on my to be explored list because I think it has a lot of potential.
