Externalizing disorders (known formally as "Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders" in the DSM) include oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), conduct disorder (CD), intermittent explosive disorder (IED), and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD). These diagnoses capture a wide range of pathology involving disruptive behavior in children and adolescents who do not qualify for a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder. In this video, we will go over how to differentiate between these 4 disorders using a simple mnemonic!
Learn more externalizing disorders, including their core signs and symptoms, prognosis, and treatment, in this high-yield talk intended for all healthcare providers, including doctors, medical students, psychologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, and more!

Omgosh! Why does this make it seem so much more straight forward than the DSM5? I couldn't even figure it out with Morrison's book, but a 10 min video and it's cleared up? Subscribed

This only occurs to me when I get responded in a sarcastic/condescending way (verbal, written, all kinds of delivery etc, ads, music, shows). Other than that Im fine, Im just tired of being treated if I was dumb constantly. Through lots of bullying even to this day. May be related to autism/aspergers. I stopped going outside because everytime I interact with someone I always get a sarcastic remark thrown in my way

I think I have IED I get angry at very little things and the anger usually last about 3-5 mins, I shout alot and sometime I have an urge to hit something. This has somewhat caught a strain in my relationship with my family. I feel like a psychopath sometimes.

I feel like ADHD sounds like it’s kinda similar to some of these too

They're closely linked in many cases. People with ADHD are much more likely to have them.

@@th8257 yeahhhh I have ADHD but instead of co-occurring externalizing disorders, I have internalizing disorders like anxiety and depression

Bro. Those acronyms. Get a grip on your audience. Strings of letters are not helpful for clarity.
