the best thing to do during times of change/transition is stay grounded in the present + remind yourself of your brave decision to venture out like you've been doing🤍🕊 it's not easy to transition from a fast-pace nyc life to the relaxed italian one & besides your cooking community, you're doing this on your own right? that deserves serious credit! being alone means exploration, self-actualization, and transformation. these are magical times & i hope you're enjoying them. when i visited sorrento & positano, i was trying to take it all in and i kept hitting this ceiling where i couldn't grasp it all and it reminded me of john steinbeck saying 'positano bites deep, it is a dream place that isn't quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.' enjoy it to the fullest, in bocca al lupo 💖

You seem tired but very happy. My dreams about moving to my favourite city was sadly shattered yesterday. My friend is to scared to move and I can't afford renting a place or even a room alone. I feel like a failure again. Staying in my town is detrimental to my mental healh.
you can do anything you put your mind to! you can find people who want to share rent where you want to move and you can even do it online, do not let external circumstances hinder your experience
