You'd have to combine a few players:
* From just a pure physical standpoint, Kawhi has always struck me as the most like MJ. His hands are almost as big as MJs. They're roughly the same height, although Kawhi is an inch taller.
* In terms of leaping ability, Zion is the closest to MJ. Obviously Zach Levine too, but Zion has that explosiveness that MJ had, although MJ had a 3" higher vertical, which is why I mentioned Zach.
* In terms of that burning will, nobody today is like MJ. The person who used to remind me the closest was Russ, but his fire has dimmed over the years. I also didn't like when he went on his triple double rampage. He became more obsessed with triple doubles than winning and I always thought they were "fake". The Lakers proved me right. Can you get those triple doubles and also be a winner? Or are you just trying to make yourself look good while your teams lose?
Russell definitely couldn't guard Jordan.

Never bin another player to do it like him. Kobe was the closest thing to it but still just wasn't Mike. And Kobe dominated! So it's funny when I hear people talk like Jordan wouldn't be Jordan if he had to play in this Era where you can't touch the offensive players. Imagine if Jordan got to play with so much space in the paint with all the subpar bigs on defense. No hand checking. Have to allow the offensive player to have space to land safely, which means you can't play defense body to body most of the time. Smt this the same Jordan who averaged 37 in the 80s with dudes literally punching him out the air😂

Please nobody comes close to MJ and when he wasn't injured he played all 82 games getting out of bed plus playoffs. It was way more physical back then and there was no load management that's why players today can play longer years
