@@spacey123100 The Numbers signify rankings of power among the Espada. At this point in the show The highest number shown was number 4 Ulquiorra. Nel being No. 3 was a massive deal because it meant that she potentially was stronger than all of the shown antagonist Espadas up until that point. The bad guy in the clip for context was only No. 5

Nel being the former Tres Espada was one of the coolest reveals in the entire manga... and it DIDN'T GO FUCKING ANYWHERE! Sometimes I love Tite Kubo for his character designs, but sometimes I hate his inability to plan a story. She and Harribel should have been teamed up wrecking those Sternritter bastards alongside Ichigo and the gang during the Thousand Year War. Instead Harribel's already taken down "off-panel" before we even get to see them again.
They actually rule over Hueco Mundo side by side after the final arc, Grimjoww too.
Hopefully with the anime’s return this year maybe they can cover some stuff that the fans genuinely wanted to see… I mean think about it if Kubo is looking over the anime’s production he could definitely tell them to possibly add scenes that aren’t in the manga and maybe “canon filler” episodes/scene’s to give some characters some spotlight that he never could

Diverse but not unique. Bad part is the match up everyone has is perfect match for opponents they needed the randomness that hunter x hunter in match up with opponents.

Nel being nelliel was one of the biggest shocks in bleach when this shit aired everybody went crazy over it in the anime and in the manga she so cold she quickly became one of the popular most liked characters in only a few episodes

This was so hyped in manga and animé. Nel was such a great character. Unfortunately, there was no development. She could've been an asset of Hueco Mundo. She could've united all the arrancars and fought alongside Harribel and Grimmjow to defend Hueco Mundo against Quincies. She could've been one of the top Arrancars. She could've fought at least one Sternritter. She didn't deserve to be a fodder during the Thousand Years Blood arc. Neliel Tu Odelschwank IS THE original Tercera Espada, the highest ranking female arrancar. Such a waste!
I dont even remember what happened with her at when they left. It left so little impact, with such a cool character..
Bleach will always have a special corner of my heart. Having said that, bleach is a complete waste of potential.
@@takeiteasy2232 I didn't want to blame Kubo. It was rushed due to his health condition. He did everything for the fans but unfortunately, it didn't go well. Bleach is one of the best novels of all time.
@@KarasouTengu After the manga, there was a novel of her whereabouts. Nel and Grimmjow rescued Harribel. The 3 of them are governing Hueco Mundo, I think.

I don't think many people get Nel as a character. She is someone who doesn't like fighting. She is like Ichigo who only fight to protect those close to her. Her fraccion even conceal her past from her to prevent her from having to fight again. So her returning back to kid again is genius writing in my book.
no. ichigo doesnt fight only for his friends. he enjoys it. after all he didnt like to win by the hollow taking over. its about winning. friends comes 2nd.

Gotta admit when I first saw this episode I was freaking out not just from Nel’s transformation (which was mind breaking to me lol) but also from the loyalty they show in wanting to protect each other despite having met probably only a few hours ago (episode time is hard to judge 😅)

Ichigo learned so much while being in Hueco Mundo not all espadas are bad blood. nelliel was his companion through and through. He protected her and she protected him right back.

She got off-screened so the author can ship Kuro-Orihime. If Nel was still traveling with Ichigo after the Arrancar arc then it would be harder for Kubo to make that ship.

I got way too upset when I downloaded a version that didn't subtitle Nel's lisp right.

It's a cool fight but this only further convinces me Kubo really did'nt have a solid plan for this part of the arc. Neliel was built up to be a big deal and even had good foreshadowing. Then Kubo decided he wanted the captins to save the day after all so he had her lose. I love the fight between Kepachi and the fifth espada, but you can really start to see the cracks in Kubo's writing as this arc went on, he still manages to make it very enjoyable enough that I don't regret having it be in my top ten anime and I'll always love this series but it's the same kind of situation as Dragon ball only the flaws are bigger. Kubo had some bad habits for his writing that just got more obvious as the series went on.
Dude was wanting to end it after Ichigo v Aizen. TYBW wasn't even supposed to happen.. I'm sure that he could have out more thought into it if he was ending tmit there. However, it's the studio company that he has a contract with that wants him to keep making manga.

The creator of bleach does this thing where he hyped up a character and gives them this amazing aura of potential and then he gives us nothing. Like nel has similar spiritual pressure to ichigo to the point that ruckia and his other friends thought it felt like his and then nel does nothing.
She's one of the strongest and fastest espada too . If not because of the sneak attack from nnoitra and syazell, she might be ichigo enemies
