- Today we split 200 players into four races and placed them on their own custom islands. These races are the shulks, enderians, merlings, and humans. Will these vastly different races successfully create civilizations or will they fall into the hands of anarchy?

Edit: After the betrayal from PoisonKing I actually took charge and also headed the enderians into the underground of the shulk island, i have no idea if the shulks were there first or not, but by the end of day 8 we had already been deeply rooted into the shulk caves

Im glad the merlins had a peaceful ending to theirselves with that beautiful water monument. The shulks were just being too violent since the beggining, the enderians depended too much on UCOM, and the humans were just nasty. I really took a liking to the waterbound and smart merlins.
I love how the humans just roleplayed as true humans and killed each other until they realized that anything not human was inferior to them and needed to be slaughtered. Just like real life. Definately do more.

One of these civilization experiment needs to be done in parts, with later parts adding in new players who can only be taught the history of the server to simulate new generations growing up. And the amount of new players is determined by various factors that indicate a nation's prosperity. Like a game. Say there are 20 people in one nation and say that like Villagers a minecrafter is agendered and can produce with any other player, that means there are 10 couples, meaning they can have a max of 10 new players. But because their food provisions are low, they're only allowed to include 9 new players, with the hypothetical 10th player having 'died' due to the low food.
It could get quickly out of hand, but it would also evolve these videos to their next logical conclusion. Imagine a server whose islands were ravaged by warfare. Those new players will be handed a totally new world than the last ones, totally changing their decisions.

that is so hard but instead of it being artificial it should be natural, if it's artificial it will be hard to make it look enteraining, like just try to force new people to join and get enough people to simualte "a second generation", it's easier to just naturally let the server go on and see what will happen later. Also, GTA RP servers have sort of the news media that does news every day and there are multiple sources as well, that can be simulated very well by admins or someone who actually kinda goes from faction to faction and talks with people, watches what's happening.
The problem with Minecraft you can't really form a moral obligation that well, ofc irl a lot of people don't have moral obligation either, yet simulating it for a game. But it makes it really hard to keep peace between civilizations because sooner or later someone of another civilization will decide to attack (not even a squad but like one person) and that will in the end start a raging war on all fronts. So you can say the system is doomed to always be at war, and the more people are on the server the more likely is the event of that happening, it's kinda like real life nuclear war dilemma, it's interesting.
I feel like that giant water cube would've lagged the unholy hell out of the server.
Still, it's hilarious that 3 of the races were immediately at peace, and humans were immediately omnidirectionally hostile. They woke up and chose violence, and were annihilated just as quickly.

I was a merling and witnessed the cube, it really wasn't that laggy, but there's no way to describe how fucking huge it was, any aggressor that entered it was swarmed by merlings like ants on a skittle lmao
The Cods and Salmons most definitely made more lag than the Cube, but we don’t talk about that incident.
No, it would be laggy at the building phase because lots of new water blocks have to be loaded, but once its complete it would be as laggy as a ocean biome (basically not laggy at all)
@@cosmodream580 Nah, the making of the water cube wasn’t laggy at all, surprisingly Salmons and Cods caused more lag than the cube, too much of them were spawning so IHN and admins had to disable salmon and cod spawns for a while until it’s sorted out, ironically the Merlings were the main cause to this since they are in water 24/7 thus non of the fishes are despawning.

The merlings are OP. I can see them being the winner of this experiment, as they're the ones with one draw back of " can't be on land for a while ", but how this server was raining often... Well it favored them entirely. Shulks are pretty good with a slightly tweaked human, but Enderians only work underground.
I loved the UCOM alliance! It was so organized and peaceful until it was randomly betrayed. Plus the humans seemed like the antagonists the entire time and this conflict between the 2 sides created a great story!
Im sorry but the fact that the merlings made fort water in secret for so long and still be effective makes me laugh so hard.

The main reason the humans lost was probably because they threatened to kill half the player base, and then killed half their own players.

humans had the choice to join the allience the others made, but instead decided to butt heads with 75% of the server. I wonder why there weren't any deserters. If I heard my leader make a decision like that, I would have been out of that suicidal death-trap as soon as the borders opened
good point we did give them the chance to join multiple times, honestly something he didn’t mention in this video is that humans tried to rig the merling election so that the leader would join the humans and declare war on the shulks and enderians it didn’t happen though since white lotus found out that plan literally seconds before the unofficial vote started and day was elected leader due to him being the best warrior

I think that the merlings have a huge advantage with the battlefield being islands in an ocean, it makes it too easy to make a fortress that is simply impenetrable. I think it would be more fair if the majority of the world wasn’t water or if there happened to be large amounts of sponge available.
Also meetings in general have such a big advantage, as they just need to slowly watercube the map and they win. also they are the hardest to eliminate, so it would make more sense having the map be like half ocean and the other half is a solid landmass.
It would be cool if those sponges existed on the Merling's territory

Hey friends, great video, I might have a couple of ideas that can make the game much more interesting and varied (in my humble opinion) for example there can be written a little history and characteristics to the races, also instead of birth-giving there can be a replacement for it, for example, if you build some very rare item or structure, you can bring someone back to life or bring a new player (you can add restrictions) this will allow civilizations to admit their mistakes and eventually maybe come back and win (grouping and allying is ok but it's hard to compete when 1 race is fighting 3 at the same time and cant reform and try other tactics). Those are just my (stupid) ideas about how this race war could be better (maybe someone will notice).

In my opinion, the UCOM should have laid out an army like this:
Merlings as a navy
Shulks as an army
Enderians as a sort of spec ops unit

Deadass. The finale mixed with the music actually felt like the finale fight to a movie. All mixed together with the explosions matching with that sweet beat was so good. I first want to ask, what is that song called? Secondly, I watched this on my TV with my family with HD sounds. Truly an experience. I recommend it.

Most realistic? I quite disagree as it felt more like a group of dumbasses that desperately wanted to be the bad guys without any of the power to back it up. I cannot believe the vast success the Merlings had. Most (including me) thought of them to be the weakest origin, but clearly, it has a powerful advantage in prepared war.
You can't touch them in water, which is very powerful when most of the map is water

I fully disagree. Merlings are easily the strongest race. Enderlings can't even touch them. Without sponges, draining the entire ocean is impossible, and even if they had unlimited sponge it would take days, not hours. Merlings could've easily ambushed anyone foolish enough to enter the water and as a last resort attempt to flood the entire map with water from build height.
How? They're busted overpowered to everyone else. Especially when they get their ascended trait
I main as a merling and yeah, people tend to think that because we're pretty much dead if we're not near any water, but you can get access to resources, hit better by swimming past enemies and can climb walls if you know how to bucket hop fast
My guess for why Poisonking switched sides is because; He probably helped kill humans because he liked the fighting. And UCOM became too peaceful for him.

would love to see 'the race event' done more, maybe with different conditions and different/more unique races? theres literally hundreds of races, imagine some shit like a race of sky dwellers, forest people, and underground monster type people inhabiting the SAME island.
There’s not many combat viable forest people Origins, but Wardlings I desperately want to see in a sequel to this.
Yeah would be interesting to see if people who lived on the surface and people who lived underground on the same island would have peace or go to war with each other.

Merfolks had way better abilities for the map. Should’ve had more land and maybe a quarter of the map water.
Well you can’t really balance a merfolk if there’s to much water then they are strong but if there is only a quarter or less on the map all in 1 spot unless it’s that cube thing they made they can’t really do much outside

Oh hey, my friend and I had this great idea. What if instead of the Shulks, you had a "Spiders" race, where they can climb walls without ladders or vines, see in the dark, and inflict venom through melee, but be prone to the Bane of Arthropods, fire, and lose attack power during the day?
That’s gonna be in season 2 actually, with a few different abilities
Hmm that would make attacks at night very helpful
But of course they could be attacked by groups of people in the day
And is essentially weak against ranged weapons

nice thought, but there's already an origin like that. Here it is:
*Arachnid* - _Their climbing abilities and the ability to trap their foes in spiderweb make Arachnids perfect hunters._
Abilities:
Climbing - You are able to climb up any kind of wall, not just ladders.
Master of Webs - You navigate cobweb perfectly, and are able to climb in them. When you hit an enemy in melee, they get stuck in cobweb for a while. Non-arthropods stuck in cobweb will be sensed by you. You are able to craft cobweb from string.
Weaknesses:
Carnivore - Your diet is restricted to meat; you can't eat vegetables.
Fragile - You have 3 less hearts of health than humans.
finally a good concept, watching right now. hopefully they made it work how it should.

Long ago, the 4 races lived together in (relative) harmony.
That all changed when the Walls were removed and the Humans declared all-out war.
And thus began, “The Great Human-Monster War”.
With the initial days of the war going favourably for the Humans, they naively believed that victory was certain.
However, unknown to the Human, within the UCOM (United Coalition of Monsters) High Command, a plan was being formulated.
Plan 204. Code name: Operation Decimation.
The United Coalition forces amassed unnoticed under the Human’s radar, and without warning, launched the largest naval invasion the world had seen.
With the Humans taken by surprise, the UC forces faced little to no resistance upon landing on the Human island. What few they did encounter was swiftly defeated.
With the beachfront established, UC forces continued inland, destroying every Human settlement they came across.
As UC forces advanced steadily into Human territory, creeping ever nearer toward the Human capital, Human Central Command was in total disarray.
Fierce arguments broke out as the Human Generals fought among themselves.
Some wanted to launch a counter-attack, some wanted to use what remained of the army to defend the little territory they still controlled, and some a surrender with conditions.

This is probably my favorite Minecraft civilization format. The addition of races/species really makes it more interesting.

Humans were pretty good at axe,sword and arrow PVP,but the main problem was that well.....They didn't really have a plan or tactic.

Ender - damaged by water
silk touch hands
can teleport with cool down
Pig- lots of heath lots of damage
slowly loose health/loose bonuses when leaving there area
Undead- less damage
can respawn indefinitely unless killed with fire
Sunlight sets them of fire
Mushroom - insane regeneration low health (open to suggestions for a unique weakness)

Loved the video! So glad these videos are getting so popular. You should add more overviews of the entire map that shows where all of the players are, it can be hard to keep track of where everyone is when you only show short zoomed in clips of it. Ish13c did a fantastic job of that in his videos. Otherwise phenomenal work!

I think one thing you should’ve implemented was the debuffs and buffs of each race at the beginning of the video. It’s helps viewers root from a race and want to get more engaged and see if their favorite race is going to win.

It took both the shulks and merlings to kill me and my boi haru. We had planned to cause some chaos by jumping in whilst the shulks and merlings would be fighting. We didn’t think they would be wusses enough to team on the second smallest race.
Also the event times for me and haru were 1 am and 4 am, so we thought we would just go out with a bang after 4 days of pain
This server was bound for WARS to happen, people vs people, not a 1v1 or 1v2 scenario. If you had put that to reality, imagine how things like world war and civil wars would be if they were only doing ''1v1''.
You guys did good tho, the problem was that some humans threatened the Merlings if they didn't kill shulks, and then they team up so they could put an end to a common enemy. Sounds like a realistic scenario imo.
@@k4lit411 Idk where you got the idea that i was talking about 1v1ing, I was thinking it would be an all out fight, with the shulks and merlings also fighting. what we thought was gonna be a 2v15v12 turned into a 2v27 as the largest groups teamed on 2 people.

A huge water hole down to bedrock, then expanding under all other bases with water would be the perfect way for them to take over easily, especially if they make a maze that takes forever to get through to every other island
