Yes, Turkey’s death at 12:50 was different from the one in ish’s video. Ish made some changes to what actually happened in order to make a better and more dramatic video. The lava pit never existed, and Turkey actually died on Day 8, not Day 9/10. To see that Turkey had actually died in a battle instead of being trapped by Elanuelo on days 8/9 was quite an interesting twist to see

Solev was a good person. It was theria from the start when they came over and stole. Solev was a peaceful militia that didnt want to be in violence. Until they learned theria disrespected sultanate.

I think Ish's original video was definitely the best civilization video of these I've ever seen hands-down, but the best part of the event for me is still all of these personal stories that keep popping up. What makes and epic event isn't necessary the scope of players, but the scope of the experiences people are willing to convey to other people.
Yeah ish is a really good storyteller, but what makes them fun to play in is the people

Imma be honest, either if it's ish's video or the video the one who participated both of them are good, ish's video explain most of the important part and changes some course of history to make it interesting, meanwhile the participants video explains the bigger picture of what actually happened, it's like hearing your grandpa's story in the ww2 and what horrible things that he were forced to do that was hidden in the written history

After watching ish's orginal video, it's so interesting to see events from the perspective of a single player whom I, truth be told, didn't even notice.
It's quite the mirror of real life where you hear all about the big events and big people but rarely get to see the perspective of the no-less important little people without whom these big people would never be able to achieve their big things, positive or negative.
It’s often said that history is told by the victors, but more often, history is told by whatever firsthand accounts we have: diaries, newspapers, letters, etc. I suppose it really does mirror real life.
@@KaNukei I also love this so much. Headcanon for me is that the difference in events in the two videos are just perspectives and different people/nations telling the story.
This is a really great thing to watch after the actual video. I feel like some of the story is different, and I trust you more to tell the story accurately since you actually experienced it and probably weren't trying to change it to be more dramatic like Ish did. Good job

I watched this vid before the ish video came out, but revisiting and seeing another perspective on Aculon is pretty refreshing. Turkey's death fortunately resulted in world peace.

@@KaNukei but this wasnt heat, this was comedy and drama and emotion, it was impactful and shows just how different everyone is, i envy those who do these experiments because they get to firsthand see just what happens when hundreds of seemingly different people come together or seperate to create a true, invaluable story
W video by the amazing KaNukei, even though the event felt rushed, it was cool it had a lot of similarities with Season 1 and the best part of the season wasn't defeating Aculon but DEFEITNLY was all those times we were in vc together with the other b.p. members chilling, attempting to make a plan but instead meeting for hours lmao. Was definitely a great conclusion for me and a good amount of others. (Also 5k when)

So I'm slightly confused how Elanuelo rose to power. Did he already have the largest tribe on Snow, or did he simply gather all the leaders of snow tribes to form a single larger nation? It seems like his plot to take power started very early and I'm unsure how exactly he rose to power of Akulon

It also helps the audience get into it quicker if the leaders are recognisable.
As I understood it he came up with a lot of the bureaucracy which sort of provided a benefit for the people joining him
I absolutely love watching everyones perspective on this. from 20jp who joined a war he wanted no part of to the invisible hand crew who was just chilling and eating kfc to yours. its soo fascinating.

Super interesting video! Honestly, seeing so many POVs and so many different stories really makes my heart soar.
As a Taverner 🍻, I told my story and shared my visions with others through my brew and my Tavern, but seeing so many different stories, even in nations so extremely close to The Tavern such as Pendaris, the Khore and UPS... It's hard to find the words.
I can't wait to watch more videos, more content created by members of all nations so I can understand them, all of it to culminate in a final, central piece that is Ish's Season 2 video.

Great video man! Probably one of the best perspectives of the event, you gave real reasons and context for the conspiracy against Elanuelo. I feel like every other video just chalked it up as him being power hungry ect. Perfectly summed up in the first five minutes, "a cog in the machine, a pawn in Elanuelos greater plan." I feel like this was the video I was missing to truly understand it all. Enders video was more of a movie and amazing at that, but I feel as though this video went deeper.

... How were you not focused on in the primary video!? That's honestly really cool, and shows just how complex this all was and how necessary you being a scrivener and historian had become. I hope more stuff like this occurs - both the major dramatization and the side stories going into the nitty-gritty of what actually happened.
I had a lot of backup when fighting toodrew with our own really good pvpers, and organized is a strong word bc tbh I didn’t know that dbest was one of our spies. I just wanted to tell a good story through the video. I go into more detail about what actually happened in a livestream with some of the other players from that event

Watching all the POV videos from everyone else, reminds me that the victories write history, and Ish wanted to victories to have a dramatic story. Which is cool but it gives a lot of this a lot of lore.

Man, if you ever do that, I hope to be the first to know. Well, as the author of this channel noted, it is very expensive, so either the server must be able to provide itself (Oh my God, is that a donat?)or you need to have an external, preferably not time-consuming / passive source of income ... well, or make a CZcams channel about this server, as an option. I speak simply out of my interest in such an idea.

I enjoyed this stories, I am happy to have seen this other version. The perfect cinematography when the owners of Los Pollos Hermanos left their homeland gave me clear indication the Ish video was at some extent, controlled and produced, but also did it well, so I’m glad that was his choice.

This experiment is the gift that keeps on giving. I am 36 years old and I don't really even play Minecraft. But gaddaaaamn I love these videos so much I cannot stop watching and thinking about all the stories written and told in this little universe.
That’s one of my favorite things about these events too, and why I wanted to tell more peoples stories this time around
Just finished watching ish's main vid. Then I watched EJK9000's vid about the state of the dessert people and what happened which there were so many stories left behind by ish. After that, I watched this. There's so many things that happened at the Aculon Empire that many didn't make it through the main cut like what happened with the dessert which is interesting (ish said that the vid would too long or something or the battle between Theria and Emirate will happen at the same time as the The Great Aculon War so it didn't get included). Kind of like a side story or like a documentary. Hoping to see what I can find more about the Jungle and the Plains. Great video tho! Loved it!

You know, I don’t think Aculon played the battle very well. Here’s a improved strategy on their part:
-Let’s say they have an estimated 200 troops total.
-Deploy 50 to the coast where the fleet will land, and rig it with TNT. Detonate the TNT, killing some, and then attack.
-Deploy 50 more (including the knights) to defend the main gate and capital.
-Have the other 100 fortify and defend the Iron Torch.
-Create better arrows slits and defenses for the Iron Torch.
-Surround the front wall and gate with powdered snow to sink invaders.
-Have a secret escape route from the Iron Torch for supporters to flee.
-Elanuelo writes a will before the battle, where he decides who will become leader if he dies, who will become leader if they die, etc, the chain of command running all the way down to the least knight. This way, even if he and many of his supporters die, there will still be an emperor to unite Aculon.
Just my ideas for how Aculon could have succeeded.

People from snow aready suffer from dying in snow , purge, escape to jungle . Their number are not above 150

Send 30 to defend the outer wall, 20 to defend the town wall, and 80 for the Iron Torch. 80 is plenty to defend a fortress with those defenses, 30 is plenty to quickly build a large-scale TNT trap and fight enemies, and 20 is enough to rain down lots of arrows from the walls.
The Aculon defenders are outnumbered two to one, but if they play their cards right they can defeat the enemy.
The enemy numbered about 300, I think. 20 could be killed by the TNT trap, 20 more could be killed by the ambush, so that gets rid of 40. The remaining 260 would then face the defenders at the walls, who would rain arrows, killing 7 and leaving 253. The defenders, upon the gate being breached, would flee to the roofs of houses and create little arrow towers to fire down from there, killing 7 more invaders, and then 3 in close combat. With 243 soldiers left, the alliance finds themselves at the Iron Torch and are unable to scale it because of the many traps and the defenders raining projectiles.
ALTERNATE PLAN: Elanuelo couldn't prepared a trap in preparation for Turkey's arrival, and then made it look like an accident (the floor could've been pulled aside by pistons and Turkey would fall to his death or land in lava. Nobody would know who killed him). Then similar traps would be used for the supporters, trapping their bases or even the exit of the room to take them out 1 by 1. The confusion would buy some extra time to build defenses.

Im incredibly late to this journey but I loved how your perspective made the world feel so… large, made its players feel so human.
Ish’s video is a work of art but its told from the view of a god amongst men I guess. Like a child playing with a terrarium, it makes the viewer feel less connected.
I know its hard to find a balance, because *so much* happened in so little time, but I like this contrast, and thank you for this wonderful experience.
That’s the type of story I was trying to tell. I know it’s hard for ish to tell everyone’s stories so I wanted to collect the ones that got missed by the main video
Hey, I have a couple questions, Ish's video was released 4 weeks ago but this video was released 8 months ago?
Did Ish allow people to upload their POVs before his video?
And if so, how did you get those aerial and cinematic shots even when they were from Ish's video and or on days you didn't log on?

Ish did allow us to upload before him, and I did because I knew I wouldn’t spoil it for too many people because of how many views i would get before his video was released.
I got the cinematic shots from replays mod files that I captured on the days I was there, and I borrowed replay files from friends and other players who were recording on the days I wasn’t there. I’ve credited them at the end of the video.
Great video, it made me rethink what I thought about Elanuelo and Aculon. From Ish's video I was on the side of Elanuelo, impressed with his organization and discipline. Despite the fact, that his paranoia destroyed the unity.
But now, after watching your perspective, I have to consider that maybe Elanuelo really gone too far in his power. That he indeed was lacking, aside of courage, an empathy, which is key in being a ruler.
This is actually really hard dilema. Law and order, or pure freedom? I think that in this particular experiment freedom was better option, due to a lot of players being actually peacefull. There was no need for a strong ruler, where everyone (well, most of them) just wanted to have a good time playing. But if the server would be much more hostile and fulled with agressive nation... I think then Elanuelo would be a hero. And his organised empire would be an answer to saving lifes.
The organization of the Aculon Empire was incredible the entire operation made it possible for 200+ players to work together. At the end of the day it’s just really hard to get Minecraft players to follow a centralized plan when everybody wants to do their own thing. Elanuelo is also a pretty chill dude in actuality so please don’t think he’s like super oppressive or anything he was trying his absolute best to lead a huge nation and did way better than 95% of people would have done in his situation

I would really love to see Ish take even more inspiration from how larps are organised. He already takes a lot of cues from larps in the way he casts his players based on applications and in how he sets up the rules. But ehat would be really cool to see is to have a writing team that comes up with backstories for each player that have entanglements and histories with each other.
It wouldn't have to be anything really in-depth just a tiny bit to help everyone get into the role play even more.
There are a few events similar to this that take the role playing aspect a lore more seriously
