“Evidence That This Policy Is Already Working!” Rwanda Bill Drives Asylum Seekers To Ireland

  • Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister has claimed the Rwanda bill is causing asylum seekers to flock into the Republic of Ireland.
The Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Act 2024, passed on Tuesday, is Rishi Sunak’s controversial deportation plan which will send illegal asylum seekers to the African country if they enter the UK.
While no planes have currently been sent to Rwanda, Number 10 announced that the first flight has been ‘booked.'
Michael Martin, the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs, said the policy’s deterrence is forcing asylum seekers into Ireland as they are “fearful” of staying in the UK.
TalkTV’s Jake Berry is joined by former Labour adviser Stella Tsantekidou and political journalist Zoë Grünewald, to discuss the effectiveness of the Rwanda bill.

They think we stand for Christian values of love, unity and a sharing of the Christian faith. They see the cross of St George which is also their Patron Saint and assume we have Christian values. It is only when they get here they realise that we have conned them as we no longer have Christian values do we? I live in Australia. Just last month we had a boat arrive in the north of a west Australia with would be asylum seekers that were mainly from Pakistan. This is despite that for the 10+ years everyone knows that anyone arriving by irregular means will not be granted leave to settle or remain in Australia. We are told this happened because the change of government cut funding and took their eye off the ball in border control. This could cost them the next election.
Meanwhile the government is trying pass a bill whereby nobody will be granted any visa to enter Australia if they come from Iran, Iraq, Russia, South Sudan or Mozambique. This is because these countries will not take failed asylum back despite them having served sentences for very serious crimes and therefore being a risk to the safety of Australians. Surely any governments duty of care is firstly owed to the people that elected it?
Immigration departments need politicians and leaders with relevant skills, knowledge and GUTS to protect their country.

I’m an immigrant living in England, I went through a rigorous immigration process, filled out extensive paperwork and waited in line to come to this beautiful country, I also paid a lot of money for the entire transaction including the initial NHS fee of £1,200.00 pounds, it cost me a total of £4 thousand pounds, I was granted a visa entry and a biometric card that states “not allowed for public funds.” It’s basically a permit to work and pay taxes, which I’m totally fine with such rules. Now we have grown Islamist men who jump the cue and come into Britain illegally not paying one penny into the British system and falsely claiming political asylum, upon arrival they get free housing free food, cash allowance and free healthcare while waiting for their case to be heard comfortably in a hotel that taxpayers pay for. This is not only insane, but unfair to immigrants like myself who play by the rules.

They don’t integrate into society now it’s literally them against us . Close the borders and deal with the hundreds of thousands we’ve had come over in the past couple of years.
