Here’s five things you must absolutely avoid at Rowan University’s main campus in Glassboro, New Jersey to have the best college experience possible. The Growth and Development of Jazz is now an elective at Rowan. Earlier in the 2000s, the class used to be required of all students to take.

As a current Rowan Student, I strongly disagree with a few of these. Mostly because this video just seems like one person’s opinion being blown up to be something everybody should avoid. Growth and Development of Jazz, albeit boring, is one of the easiest classes you can take at Rowan University. If it is a class you can take to fill a requirement, I would take it. Second, parking on campus is difficult and you should get a pass, HOWEVER, I have not purchased a pass and the total fees I’ve accumulated from tickets never come to match or exceed the price of a pass for the semester. If you’re risky like me and Are trying to save money, you can honestly get by without a parking pass. Not sure what this person’s beef with triad is. It is the oldest and least updated housing but also they aren’t as strict there so if you’re a party kind of person and don’t care too much about quality of living (which, let’s be honest, isn’t very nice in any place/dorm) Triad is an as good as the rest place to stay.

Give the College of Engineering students a challenge. Create a Substitute Building that will replace the 'EVER INFAMOUS, DECADES-old ABOMBINATION CALLED 'TRIAD" I LIVED THERE MY JUNIOR (1979-1980). Even my Communication Major classes were held in that "ARCHITECTURAL DISASTER. TRAD is one building on campus that needs to be demolished and re-constructed. I remember when my older sister was looking at colleges in the Fall of 1972. Family traveled southwest to Glassboro N.J.,one day. The only thing I remember was that UGLY, G-D FORSAKEN BUILDING CALLED TRIAD! AND TODAY, DECADES LATER THE THREE-PRONGED TRIAD IS A UGLIER THAN SIN! WAKEUP ROWAN. YOU WANT TO BE FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY; REMOVE THE TRIAD. DEMOLISH IT. IT REEKS!! TRIAD DOES NOT EQUATE TO ROWAN PRIDE/REPUTATION!Larry Kalb,, GSC, CLASS OF 1981.
