    One thing that this guy did that most of these guys don't, is he has his rebar off of the ground before the pour. Most all of the time the rebar is just lying there and the people doing the pour pretend like they are lifting it up so it will actually do something. This guy did it right to start with.

      Hi Phil, the video is not mine, but I have seen them around a bit, you only pay for what you use, rather than a lorry load of stuff that's been pre-mixed , if you don't use it they throw it away as you have to pay for it.

    Ian what's this truck mate?? In Australia we've only used normal agitator bowl trucks. Do you guys always poor the slab first and then out the shed frame up or you do both ways? Always interesting to see how folkes do your trade the other side of the world.

    • @ianhuggan1071
      @ianhuggan1071  Před 7 lety +1

      the truck holds 10 cube and mixes as it goes so you get exactly what you want and no more,we normally get to dpc level and then pour

    The most interesting part of this video would have been from when the pour was finished to the final trowel. Wheres part 2?

    That truck is beyond lame. You would think the arm would swing back and forth. OK it does just not by hand so it is very awkward. Also it needed a longer chute.

  • @christophervilliers9479

    by the time they lay that it would have set taking to long at leveling

    • @christophervilliers9479
      @christophervilliers9479 Před 7 lety

      They would have been better at ordering ready mixed concrete it comes out the drum faster and will infact put the concrete any where on that pad with no messing,

    • @christophervilliers9479
      @christophervilliers9479 Před 7 lety

      These trucks are a heap of junk don't mix it properly and takes days to set,

    • @ianhuggan1071
      @ianhuggan1071  Před 7 lety

      Christopher Villiers a ready mixed drum you pay for what you use and a percentage for what you don't use of the 6m2 drum , with these you pay for only what you use and no wastage.

    • @christophervilliers9479
      @christophervilliers9479 Před 7 lety

      Ian I use to drive concretes mixer trucks so I know how long it would take to lay that slab on concrete.

      ian huggan , was not having a go,I have pushed and shoveled enough concrete over the years it’s bloody hard work!! It’s just when the wagon has the capability to slowly dribble the muck where you want it ,like I said lazy or inexperienced driver.
