    This guy has never traveled outside the US. He's way off base. Stay in cebu in an Airbnb and use it at a base to travel all over Visayas. Dumaguete has no night life and is boring unless you want to be retired with your wife. He should have gone to more parts of Visayas..

    • @GiointhePhilippines
      @GiointhePhilippines  Před 9 měsíci +2

      He said for him He doesn't like Cebu, it is based on his personal preference. Dumaguete isn't for everyone but for some people it is.

      @@GiointhePhilippineshe's only been to cebu and duma. He doesn't know what he likes, he should be encouraged to travel to other places like Iloilo , siargao, leyte or Davao. 🤗

    Where's the vid on getting a ticket from US to PI to getting set up? I was hoping to hear details about selecting a ticket, 1 way or round trip to Ceb. Should you have made arrangements with a person or service to help get set up?
    It maybe that each of the following might require a vid for ea one.
    What happens from the time get off the plane , showing your one way ticket vs round trip, to customs, to selecting a hotel, to getting a taxi. And how to find a fully furnished condo, with everything, forks and spoons, plates and cups. Everthing, so you don't spend valuable time buying stuff.

    • @dennishuff6738
      @dennishuff6738 Před 8 měsíci

      first you need to get a visa from the Philippine embassy closest to you...then you will either need a round trip ticket or a 1 way and then a connecting outward flight to another country , they will not let you travel here on a 1 way....the only way a 1 way is allowed is if you are traveling with a filipina spouse...hotels/condo's can be checked and booked online for the date of your arrival, check in's are either 11am or 2pm...some will let you check in early if you pay a surcharge....i would make sure to book a hotel/condo that has airport shuttle service to get you from the airport...as for extras like the towels, plates, forks,spoons, etc they are very cheap in the known dollar stores....i have been here for 11 years and have not spent near what this guy has on rent....
