Sir, I was doing in windows server 2016 and in 2019, that is why ping was not happening. So I disable the firewall of both server and then it started pinging. I saw this solution in the comment which you have replied to

bhai lagta hai ab mujhe b yahi karna padega... mai b 2 baar 2019 waala windows server se kar k dekh chuka hoon. Ek baar aur try maarya hoon fir aapko update deta hoon. Thanks bhai

I have gone trough your session and it's really good, clear and helpful for understanding.
I have followed same steps for peering the VPC1- VPC2 in same zone, also added IP Ping security rule, but still I am not able to ping the EC1, EC2. what could be the reason that I am not able to ping the instance?

Turn off the Firewall in both the RDPs to get Results(Missed in the video)
means you are saying for my both windows instances, i should turn off fire wall?
No need to trun off firewall as in production environment we should not do that. Just allow network discovery and file folder sharing. That's will work

First of all thanx a lot for your wonderful playlists regarding cloud and devops. It is helping me a lot in understanding the concepts.
I created a VPC and launched an EC2 instance in N. Virginia and another VPC and EC2 in Mumbai region.
Although Peering connection was not made, I was able to connect N. Virginia RDP from Mumbai RDP.
How is that possible? Kindly give some insight
It worked fine with firewall off. We tried 3 times with firewall on but did not work. Kindly let us know if it is mandatory to disable firewall to communicate between two VPC's ?

@TechnicalGuftgu Sir, I have tried pinging Instances using 2012 in both servers then they were perfectly pinging but when I did same with 2019 they were not pinging. Also, I tried All traffic in Security Groups but it didn't work. Please help me how to disable firewall for 2019, as I am not getting that...Please tell me all the steps "how to disable FW".
U go-to Windows firewall and choose inbound rules and enable the rule for printer and sharing (ICMPv4)

Thanks for video, I also did the same as your demo but my VPC Instances was not pinging then I turn off Windows firewall form control panel after that both start pinging.

Should I take some other study materials from e-learning platforms like udemy or this playlist will work as AWS has recently changed sysops exam pattern?
30:30 Sir I remember you were saying security group doesnt have to be Inbound and Outbound , whatever we mention will be applicable for both . inbound and outbound concept is used in NACL ?
In Security Group, If inbound rule is applied then outbound rule is not required as this is Stateful. But in NACL you need to add both inbound and outbound rule, as this is Stateless.. Hope you understand it.

for windows server 2019...
if you are still getting request timed out error....then go to this path (on both servers) control panel -> system and security-> windows defender firewall -> allow an app through windows firewall and then scroll down and find virtual machine monitoring and check the box.
and click ok...hopefully you will be able to resolve the problem..
