I could've spent hours reading AWS docs, and not have come nearly as far as this video takes you in 20 minutes. Thanks a million.
AWS docs suck.
this is true
Max, I work in an enterprise environment as a 'Full Stack Developer'. Part of my responsibilities include networking work and you have definitely made my life a thousand times easier with this video.
Same here!
Eugene, Would you please help me to clarify, the use of two different IP ranges 16:38 ( Pls refer this screenshot for a better understanding of my question - i.imgur.com/RPFN2d6.png
@@kumarcok
Hey those ranges are dictated by the cidr block or the subnet mask whatever you want to call it. It basically shows what part of the up address is the actual available range
@@eugenevedensky6071 Okay, Thank You!
Your company didn't have devops?
AWS must pay you for this. you just saved me from so many stackoverflow questions
No matter that this is a 3 years old video, it still provides in a clear and short way the basics of VPC, thank you so much Max!!
You won't probably read this, but THANKS!!!! I'm one of many "a clown gurus" That throught I was buying a quality content course. Let me get this straight. You've explained more and better in 20 mins than a module of 2.5 hours in a cloud guru. Please make your own platform, THIS kind of learning is what I was expecting. You're awesome!
Thank you so very much! That's just awesome to hear! Really means a lot to me! :)
The best explanation available on the internet
This was the most helpful video so far to understand VPC concepts. Thank you.
the most understandable explanation for the VPC ever seen, we need more in AWS, thanks alot, also your aws serverless course is amazing

Working mom, trying to prepare for AWS certification - honestly, this is as crisp as it could get! Saved me so many hours of head-scratching. Thanks.
Bonus point. This is the best and succinct explanation of CIDR block I have seen.
Amazingly clear, especially the portion on CIDR notation. Was struggling to understand that for weeks and it finally clicked.
Yea Iâm just now finding about the / syntax. Never knew what that value was for.
You are certainly a God sent. Thank you for explaining the meticulous details so well.
Thank you Max! I'm following all your videos in academind. You're a great teacher! :)
Thank you for your comment and for your support Dodinz, happy to read that you like my teaching style!
I was literally roaming in the internet as I couldn't understand this, but your 20 min video changed my life. The concepts became very easy. Your a real genius.
Four years later, I'm here enjoying this. God bless you.
Max, your videos are amazing! Your able to breakdown ideas, simplify them that makes it easy to understand and able to answer the why and how we use these ideas that are suitable and practical. Your able to give just enough detail to continue your lecture. Some instructors get too technical and loose the audience. Your videos are well structured and I love how you explain why we do it this way and some pitfalls that are well worth noting. Your not boring and express the excitement throughout your knowledge sharing. I love how you highlight worthy elements even during simple section that I wouldn't have picked up. I think what I mean is you highlight "reading between the lines" of your steps. Very few off this well rounded knowledge sharing. You make great observation in your material. Keep it up. Looking forward to keep following and getting new topics to learn from you. Also please continue to update your old topics to introduce new features in topics you may have already covered.
Thank you very much for your fantastic feedback, I'll do my best to keep it going :)
This video is a gold mine. This video was way more useful than weeks of AWS docs which are are difficult to see how everything pieces together. Thanks!
