Isonzo Mountaineer is my most played class by far while attacking in Isonzo. I will show you how to play this class and how you can make it a sniper class!
Engineer and mountaineer are two classes that can easily top the leaderboards with very few kills thanks to building/spotting being worth so many points(rightfully).
Once i get used to the light infantry trait’s speed its so hard to go back to being regular speed. The hardest part of a round of isonzo for me is deciding if i wanna run light inf + ice axe (or bugle) or sniper + binoculars
I feel you. if I'm going for trenches, I always pick the sprinting perk. However, why the binos? I like to pick the flaregun when sniping with mountaineer. lots of easy points and you help your officers
@@stageblood9935 right? nailing that 200m headshot and hearing the satisfying ping is freaking awesome :D I just tested sniper hold breath vs mountaineer hold breath, mountaineer is so much better. you may have stronger zoom as sniper, but you can hold it way longer / way more often compared to sniper.

cheers, completely overlooked this perk. this is arguably even better than a scope since it doesn't limit your fov as much as the scope does
plus it makes you feel like youre the greatest marksman ever to snipe with irons
