- A Motorcycle adventure to the top of Alaska. 4 friends getting ready to leave from Cape May, NJ and riding the Dalton Highway, reaching the Artic Ocean in Deadhorse, Alaska. We will then travel south to Homer to touch the Pacific Ocean.

I took a 2012 weeStrom from Key west to Prudhoe Bay in 2013. Ran good accept getting mud in the electronics. Knocked out the dash. Changed from street tires to k60's in Idaho Great ride, July 4th dancing in the arctic ocean. Worst weather was in Iowa, Tornado!! 13,500 miles, 44 days My retirement gift to my self...

That's what I rode to Alaska, Yukon, NW Territory... a Moto Guzzi V85TT. Ran flawlessly!
Curious as to what tires you will be using and if you are switching them up along the way due to road conditions, and why you chose them.
Marty and I are both using the MOTOZ Tractionator GPS's which are considered a 50/50 tire. To your other question, we had new sets of tires for all 4 bikes shipped up to Fairbanks, AK. We plan on putting them on after the Dalton Hwy. as well as other maintenance.
