I'm really glad a native of the land has expressed an opinion, however I do feel like the Safari serves simply as a point of reference and all the other elements in the movie are what's truly endangered ex. The mother with diabetes represents the current health crisis, the gay son, the family structure, careers, freedom of speech, education, respect ECT. these are the real subject matters at risk of extinction. That's my opinion. Great story line.

i know they're trying for against type casting, but...jerry o'connell playing the villain and not the dad, while casting that villain-looking guy as the dad are just RIDICULOUS.
Jerry actually did a solid job as the villain. Sadly he was much better than the movie he was in, which was pretty mediocre.
This movie was ultra woke and I damn near turned it off when they kept pushing the fact that the kid was gay even though it served no purpose
Also, they did the dad dirty anyway making him a weak simp, evil oil exec and magically the only one to die when all the other woke characters survived with ease lol

It’s a shame they had to cheat his first line on the plane. It’s so ADR and I don’t even think practical. Wonder if he said another theme park and they had to change it. Also, sounds nothing like Winchester. Kind of screws the trailer vibe.

Currently watching this on Netflix, its fucking garbage. This inept family makes so many consistently bad decisions, it's just madness. It also went down the woke route, with one of the teens trying to coming out as gay and there's a cringey nonsensical scene about all the fighting caused over the moving of cobalt for phone batteries. The CGI animals look ridiculous, especially the Rhino and Hyenas. Just avoid this mess and don't believe the Netflix hype.

Where in Africa, Africa is an entire continent with over 50 countries. Noone is ever welcomed to Europe. The whole of Africa is not just a wildness with lions.
