Because marriage is a business contact not a love one. A man can get a women pregnant and take care of his child and live with his women and still love her. If something happens you just walk away. With marriage you can damn near take someone's whole life away, that's what scares men. I don't wanna lose everything I got because a woman wants to be bitter and try to lie and play me on court.

Marriage, relationship it doesn't matter they all a waste of time and commitment. First of all, men wasn't made to be with one woman, second we were here to multiple make lots of babies. It's the natural instinct of a species. But as for all this expecting a man to be with one woman it's impossible. Only woman was made to be for one men but that men can have multiple women.

The other kind of promise ring, that you're talking about, is a ring people get when they make a promise (mostly for religious reasons, from what I've heard) to abstain from sex until that ring is replaced with a wedding band.
