Uhh VGS hate to tell you this but you miss a couple conversations with the sled with Atreus
Kratos angry when heard that the Aesir burned Freyr while he was a guest is not without reason, in many Greek myths, the law of hospitality is as sacred as worshiping a God. when one became guest at others house, no matter the class, one must be treated with respect.
Thats also why he let Thor in at the start of the game, he not only asked relatively peacefully he also gave a gift.
Ah, yes the known Philoxenia:
Hospitality
(Philos- xenia/xenos)
(Friend-stranger/unknown)
Damn the Greek were deep sometimes…
@Native CZcamsr Wasn’t he the man who had to push a boulder up a mountain?
@Native CZcamsr Ha. Serves him right
Xenia.
wait, so Freyr was so stoned he managed to find the source of Bifrost energy?! damn!
>Decides to impress his crush by finding the source of Bifröst light
>Gets high
>Ends up in Alfheim
>Gets out of the Lake of Souls unscathed
>Light and Dark Elves start praising him
>Refuses to elaborate
>Leaves
Absolute mad lad

The voice actress for Freya is amazing. Her voice is so peaceful and alluring when she’s in a good mood. But hearing her in anger can give such fear and anxiety. She has amazing range!
True, Danielle Bisutti is really really good
*Freya after hearing what Kratos did to the Sisters of Fate*
Freya: "That's the most dangerous and irresponsible thing I have ever heard"
Kratos mind: "She should hear what I did to the gods and how it affected nature and balance"
Yep a Global Flood, blocked out sun, damned souls running ramped. Post hades,Helios,& Poseidon’s deaths.
Changing fate is a ripple that can be just as devestating even if it is with good intentions. 118 people is as dumb to think you one upped a very important fact.
"Or that time I let a Prisoner get crushed to death by using her body to hold a door open"
"Or that other time I used a dying Soldier to open ANOTHER door to get to a mole thing that was eating Jason alive"
"Or that time I bashed the faces of several old men to get their blood"
Or- ok, I think you get the idea, now.

the interaction between Lunda and Freya at 4:16 is underrated

Dang, she flirting with everybody.
freya: "Do you have a massive giants corpse for me to revive?"
kratos: "I do."
freya: "Perhaps you could tell us where?"
kratos: "In my homeland."
Freya: Did they try to kill you?
Kratos: Yes
Freya: I should have expected that.
I cried when the Jellyfish died but I was aware that they die when they produce offspring.
It was a beautiful spectacle to see the mating dance and with all those little swimmers gave me hope that that the species will live on.
“Jellyfish”
Reminds me of a certain Courage the Cowardly dog episode.
Mimir's tales never get old
The tale of Odin procuring Ingrid from Freyr is probably one of my favorites. Right next to Kratos assuring Mimir and Freya that he did, in fact, travel back in time at one point to change his own fate, though that story is my favorite because Mimir confirms that no such similar power exists in the Nine Realms, because "If it did, Odin would have it, and if Odin had it, we'd be five shades more fucked than we are already!"
I like when Kratos responds with "EXAGGERATED? " The change of his tone, showing that he was almost offended.😂😂😂
It's sad, Hearing Sinmara cry, It's almost a heartbreak of pure pain, Like she's almost about to cry her guts out, It's so sad and amazing for a game to be able to express a lot in just a few cries.
Felt like more of a jumpscare rather than a quick feeling of pain and relish on grief the time I played Ragnarok.
The fact that she knows what happened make it more painful.
Never understand the people who claim Kratos and Freya have "no chemistry".
There’s chemistry between them. if you don’t see it or feel it you’re blind.
I don't see romantic chemistry.
It's hard too for me considering he killed her child I see alliance, friendship and most of all respect but that's it

Damn, Freyr needs to puff puff pass those Vanier herbs.
"Death can have me when it earns me", talking heavy
4:45 Freya would not be so eager to square up if she’d seen Kratos’ exploits in Greece.
Foreal she's forgetting he did not want to fight her he's filled with guilt
The line: "Death can have me when it earns me" Goes so ducking hard
4:09 that "and you have been told" made me feel like I suddenly had a father in my life to fear
To Kratos, what they did to Freyr would be as bad as what Sisyphus did. Worthy of Tartarus
I love Mimir stories in both this game and the previous. Also, What the hell's an olive?!
... actually that's a good question. What *is* an olive?
@@mb2001 They never answered the question. The world may never know.
An olive is a grape that tastes like shit

Hearing these 3 talk about mythology is do interesting
I love that the most important stories are basically “and then he got high as giraffe nuts and basically uncovered a secret of The universe by accident”
"the hard way"
Kratos shoukd never change.
Those Hafgufa reminds me of an episode in Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Last of the Star Makers
That was a really bittersweet episode. Still, seeing karma hit Eustace in the end was amusing.
Expect the FINAL COMPLETE nearly 2 hour video tomorrow with ALL of the Mimir Tales and Stories from all characters
The voice acting and scripting are incredible
I've been waiting for this one for a long time!
Wait after releasing the other Hafgufa, watching them singing the song of sands, start from 18:13, did it just mean they have finished mating and proceeded to give in their life to their newborns? if so, damn I am deeply touched 😭😭😭
From the conversations about them, it seems they have to give their light source, which keeps them alive, to their offspring so they can survive. It's really bittersweet in the end for the hafgufas parents, but at least their offsprings can live freely.
Nature is not always kind. But it serves it's purpose. :/
Olives.
"...the hell's an olive?" 😂😂
I feel like the Norse Mythology should've been a trilogy. GOW 2018, Ragnarok, and Valhalla.
@Bully maguire maybe he does die in Ragnarok, but then is revived in valhalla. So he destroys the army odin has, finds atreus, beats up thor a bit, and we get to the finale.
that won't happen because they decided to rush asgard with gow ragnarok
@@CountArtorias I know. It's a shame.
For some reason, I'm expecting Kratos, Mimir & Atreus to head over to the Scottish Isles, traipse around there for a while.
@@magne7771 true that!
How is Freya so confident that she could win against Kratos, surely she should know by now that she'd lose.
She might not have wanted to win at all. I think she tried to pull a "suicide by Kratos," but Kratos' refusal to fight her made that tough.
Freya's not exactly weak.
Before getting weakened by Fimbulwinter she was powerful enough to overcome Thor and Odin simultaneously when she kicked them out of Jountenjeim, and don't forget she had to save Kratos and Atreus from Odin.
I mean… there’s a reason Mimir has acknowledged Freya as being Odin’s deadliest enemy. She’s the most powerful of the Vanir AND is the true Valkyrie Queen. Freya’s no slouch.
Well so was Tyr, so was Thor, Baldur, the Valkyries. All of them got feats of their own and what they are capable of, but none can top the hacks Kratos is capable of performing when he puts his mind to it.
@@westleyramirez3036 I would like to point out that Thor is smart enough to recognize when an opponent is out of his league as seen by him relying on an army to weaken a six armed giant (who's name i can't remember at the moment) and that was back when he was constantly drunk.
So I feel like that's a pretty good indication that if Thor wouldn't be fighting Kratos one on one if it wasn't within the realm of possibility that Thor could win.
I personally wouldn’t have had an issue with the Norse saga being 3 games. Ragnarok felt kinda rushed towards the end
I feel the same
Agreed. It all felt underwhelming. The characters were good but it obviously felt rushed for the finally.
Yes I fully agree. I loved the game very much, but some sections did feel rushed. The climax being one of them. I get the technical reasons they didn't want to make the Norse era a trilogy. But they really should have.
Same here
Can’t be a trilogy if there’s not three games to begin with, little guy.
"Would the God Of Few Words lend me his ear, every now and then?"
"As long as I am needed."
I don't know if these two will ever be _a couple,_ but I'll be knifed in the eyesocket if they don't have serious chemistry.
“You have my word.”
*Freya joins the party.*

It might be that Mimir actually originate from medieval land before living in asgard.
A little late to respond, but I believe that’s the widely-accepted name of the Lady of the Lake that gifted Excalibur to Arthur.
Lúnda is me after a few drinks
Kinda curious if there is anything in between the line when Mimir ask about the flora to Freya is it JUST because she doesnt want to tell him or am i missing something?

wahoo!
I always thought when kratos tells the story about pandora father(Hephaestus) and he died to his enemys(kratos kills him in self defence after Hephaestus promised to make kratos a weapon like no other to kill Zeus). Then betrays kratos by trying to electrocute him throught them. After kratos demands to know how to reach throuht the fire of olympus. IE to open pandoras box. But regardless, if you pay attention kratos voice for a slight second as he mentions the pandora it sounds softer, full of regret, and you can hear that pain for only moment.

it's funny how Freya tries to justify her mad quest of revenge but ends up comparing her sorrows with the mountain worth of load that Kratos has carried over his lifetime. Kratos just sees her as his former self, who might end up doing something regretful for petty vengeance.
Atreas should get the blue version of kratos tattoo like it was originally suppose to be. They said blue looked too friendly so they made it red. The blue tatto on atreas would fit him. If kratos ever dies the ash curse should mive iver to atreaus as a symbol of change and redemption rather than a curse.
