  • Sorry for the delay in the episode but I was working on my mini-documentary for National Psoriatic Arthritis Day and it cut into my time quite a bit. You can see the final documentary video here: • Canadian National Psor...

This week I show you how my Psoriasis is doing after over 6 weeks without an injection. I also recorded me taking my injections so that you can see what they are like. I may or may not have slowed one down and had a super close up to show the injection in great detail... You will have to watch to the end of the video to find out!

Noticed all kinds of underlying patches of psoriasis around the angry looking ones, especially on the scalp. Am sure the shots are painful, but what a neat set up to self administer. Hope your shots work soon to decrease your discomfort.

I do have a lot of patches of Psoriasis that are just red and not covered with plaque. The scalp ones I find extremely itchy but I find that shaving my head helps to clear those a bit. The injections are not that painful. It's mainly when the air bubble at the end of the shot goes through that there is a bit of discomfort. That is sadly the downside of the auto-injector. The current biologic I am on "Taltz" is the least uncomfortable of all the biologics I have been on.
