Taty! Too many great things going on in one clip. Content was incredibly spot on. I am huge fan of Sister Ajara, so anytime she is on camera I am happy. She is simply an amazing talent, and it appears she can cook all of the different varieties of foods we have in Ghana. I am consistently blown away by how easy she makes the cooking process seem. Furthermore, cooking in large quantities can be difficult as one will need the right measurement of ingredients. But not in her case. She is simply genius!🔥. I was waiting for her to break out into lengthy English words🙂. Ummmm, at times in the video I observed Ala walking around? Who gets behind the camera when Ala takes off🙂? Now the ending scene was brilliant. Everyone eating from the same bowl, sharing in the same food while engaging in conversation is an awesome part of our culture. It depicts how communal we are as a people, and the importance of everyone being fed and taken care of. Even the dogs and cats knew where their positions were in the hierarchy of the event🙂. The meal sharing made me miss a Ghana a lot, because it goes a long way in building and strengthening relationships/friendships. Great work as always and looking forward towards your next content.

This is the best jollof recipe that I've seen online. I have a Nigerian friend that makes Jollof like this (very different from other Nigerian's) I've been trying to get the recipe from him, but he wont give it! His Nigerian friends all come to him for it. Now I don't have to ask him to make it for me anymore...he cooks fish in his too....It's the best, I can tell this one was delicious...the color was perfect!

@@oc4618 The Wolof people are a West African ethnic group found in northwestern Senegal, the Gambia, and southwestern coastal Mauritania. In Senegal, the Wolof are the largest ethnic group, while elsewhere they are a minority
Rice farming flourished in this region, and Jollof began life as a dish called thieboudienne, prepared with rice, fish, shellfish and vegetables. As the empire grew, the Wolof people dispersed across the region and settled in different parts of West Africa, taking their sumptuous rice dish with them.

@@misscecilmutule-instagram Pelau is a Trinidad & Tobago speciality. We do not colour the rice with tomato but browned sugar. We brown stew the meat in the sugar then add washed rice, peas, pumpkin, carrots, coconut milk and other seasonings and let the liquid steam down in it. The rice is more brown than orange from the sugar after cooking. Its a favorite in my country served with fresh salad or coleslaw. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
