The V6 turbo Civic was WAY too loud... Open downpipes aren't for everyone! I had Austin make me a custom exhaust to muffle it and make it sound a bit better, and it's a NIGHT AND DAY difference!

The Honda J series is one of my favorite sounding V6’s! I might be a little biased because I own one but still😂
j series are infact one of the best sounding v6's infact stock ones sound better

@@LenzPhotography I’ve had 2 VQs and 2 J series and can say when done right, they both can sound great. J series is mad underrated tho and typically doesn’t sound NEARLY as bad as most VQs
I miss my 03 TL-S, tho it didn’t have a turbo, the VTEC made up for it

4:39 I believe the clanking during the startup is the clutch. I remember seeing a video about some clutches (specifically hardcore racecar clutches) with the way its designed it clanks on startup. Sounds just like it, I just couldnt tell you what brand or style the clutch is.

They definitely do sound very good, the j pipe that gives them equal length manifolds and stuff give it a smooth sound. Sounds way better than any vq lmfao
Anything with unequal length pipes will have a weird sound but a nice vibrant resonator and muffler will make that thing soooooo smooth and beautiful you’ll love it!

@evanshanks broken rear motor mount in my civic made me lose my shift linkage going down the highway one day,just left it in 4rth and limped home 10 miles still hitting VTEC and torquing the motor😂😂

With regards to the fan, have you tried just reversing the wiring on the fan? I had that same issue with the fan on my car and all we did was switch the wiring on the fan and it solved the problem

Evan you should learn to Tig brother. I learned because I've grown tired of calling people, after 6 months in college welding I've already done a full titanium exhaust and several custom stainless and aluminum parts. The school didn't teach me that. Only took sitting a few hours a week.
Change the turbo manifold setup and it will sound alot better
