So...k40 is the laser/cutting machine ur using? I'm now working with a Silhouette Cameo 4, but also have a machine in storage that I used back in 2011 for rhinestone templates I think it's brand name is Zoom. It would only be fitting - a sunflower 🌻 my aunt's favorite flower. She tragically passed away in 2006. Perhaps, she led me here 🥰

Yes they can as long as your able to cut the acrylic fine

Hey Yolanda ! No worries at all I have a k40 laser and a creality cr 10 v3 printer . I also have a few other printers as well as 2 resin printers 😎

What are your settings for k40 whispers. Also your percentage on the k40 laser? I’m having issues cutting through my 1/8 inch acrylic. When I tried to go higher it started melting
Hey there ! I’m cutting it using a MAh meter as reference . Everyones k40 percentage is different from machine to machine . I’m personally using 13mah at 7mms doing two passes . You mentioned the acrylic is melting which tells me that your not using cast acrylic. Cast acrylic (for me) seems to cut way easier and cleaner . Let me know if u need some more help ! 😎
@@impeccablecrafts7906 thanks so much. I think a lot of it is that I need a air assistance to help the burning of the laser. I buy by acrylics from canal plastics and a local acrylic store that sells color/ mirror acrylics. Its definitely cast acrylic. Not a Lowe's acrylic lol. But thanks. I'll let you know if I have anymore questions.

what power you use for engraving? it doesn't have lines, mine always have line marks after engraving
I notice if I got really fast 280mms -300 and use engrave at about 6mah the lines are barley visible. Lower man and higher speed 😎
Quick question do you leave the sunflower background white or is it a png?
Hey! Yes if you have an SVG all of the white will not be etched . Only the black part . If you are using Inkscape and k40 whisperer it will be an SVG . Hope this makes sense

Hello! I've been crafting silicone molds for my customers and noticed varying behaviors in the same brand of silicone. While previous curing times differed-ranging from 24 hours to as little as 3 hours-they never affected the resin outcome until now. Recently, when the silicone cured within 3 hours and I poured resin into it, the silicon lost its shine upon removal of resin from the mold. This unexpected issue has me deeply concerned. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
