    One other thought, if it’s too high like this you loose some balance on off/camber rock crawling. Especially if you put a lot of overlanding crap on top of it.

    I have a question for you since you said you would drive it for a long ride. I've been looking at getting the 6inch lift for my gladiator rubicon. The only thing is that I drive 1400km to my parents every summer. Would you say it would be good at driving on highways for roughly 12hrs straight?
    I really appreciate your videos. You have really helped me a lot with figuring out what I want to do to my gladiator!

    i have a teraflex 3” lift kit, and it’s interesting you have more body roll. i don’t have variable rate springs so i assume that’s the difference. i find my jeep rides rougher but takes turns with way less body roll.

    • @ryangoyne3589

      Nicolas Price it’s probably those cheaper RC monotube shocks. Could step up to something adjustable like a Fox or King and get rid of a lot of the body roll.

    37 inch + tires is the best excuse for the Diesel engine option ...

    • @MoragTong_
      @MoragTong_ Před 3 lety

      Why? So you can pay 2x's as much for fuel, 10x's as much for oil changes. Not to mention $4000.00 more for the diesel option ONLY available with the fat girl automatic. This isn't 1995 anymore. Gas engines regularly run for hundreds of thousands of miles and out perform diesels. Before you point to power figures, remember that coal burner only revs to 2-3k RPM. Have fun "Rolllin' Coal" in your choo-choo train as I pass your ass doing a four wheel burn-out because I spent that same $4k on a supercharger that doesn't void warranty.

    @thatmand4542 Před 4 lety +2

    well it looks great but id rather go with a 3"-3.5" lift if i was only gonna run 37's or 38's reason #1 to keep a lower center of gravity #2 i just like the low look i guess #3 its kinda excessive and i really wouldn't want the extra height and id just go with the rock krawler lift or clayton offroad and if you got some more money hell go with some coilovers :D but damn i must say it the 6" lift kit looks awesome ; )

Squeeked everywhere and had to replace several joints within 6 months... that’s with a professional install in Colorado (they know their Jeeps) and monthly greasing/maintenance of all joints... think what you want... RC is not my cup of tea.
