@@GWKTM Dr Hibbert sounds different because they changed his VA. Since a few years ago, all the non-white characters are now played by VAs of their respective ethnicity instead of the regular cast members

Harry Shearer’s been voicing him for 35 years, and he’s 80 years old. At some point, playing him gonna tire him out resulting in his voice change
Harry Shearer is 80 now, so that's probably why.
From what I read, Harry Shearer might just be getting older.
Also, at least for 2015 and a few years prior, he recorded his lines by phone. So if he's still doing that - which is unsubstantiated - he might not be trying too hard either due to not wanting to blow the microphone or because he doesn't have the enthusiasm.

I think that they can say Oppenheimer because it is historical figure while Barbie is brand. They eater can't say it without lawsuit or don't want to make produkt placement for free.

It's a comedy show, and the man can't do the comedic voice anymore that was part of the character. It really is time to either let the show conclude or get new voice actors who can do the old voice.
