Great content. As for the bezel, just because it has the triangle at the 12, it doesn't mean it won't rotate. All my dive watches have a ball or a triangle at the 12, so if you go diving and use a tank the is use for elapsed time or how much is left before you gave to come up. So if it's 1pm and you have 30 minutes of air, you set the triangle to the 6. So when the minute hand is near the 6 you better be out of the water. As for the rotating crown, I hope your right, but if you look at the apple ultra watch it's crown has groves in for easier rotation. The watch 7 ultras crown us to smooth. If it is a rotating crown not an action button, I hope it's not to slippery.
What I want most from this watch is the 10 ATM. The shape is a repeat of the 2017 Galaxy Gear Sports, although that one had the turning bezel. When the first renders of the Ultra appeared a few months ago I posted on Reddit that this bezel wouldn't be turning for the very reason you state. In addition the ring looks smooth which further supports this tentative conclusion. Contrary to you I need the turning bezel and it's part of the main desire to get a Samsung watch over something else. Most regular dive and rugged adventure watches have turning bezels so it's not removed for any good "ruggedness" reason. The W1000 big.LITTLE chip will be a monster. The little part is already double what the Watch 6 has, and the big part is equivalent to a flagship phone chip in 2021/22, to run AI, perhaps? 3nm will make it more frugal than that, but still a monster chip in a smartwatch.
Yes I forgot to mention the upgraded 10 ATM rating I am sure that will be handy for a lot of people. I can see how the rotating bezel is beneficial for diving. Will see what happens here in a few days.

If the bezel doesn't rotate, that is a deal breaker for me, so I hope it's rotating. I have added the Ringke bezels to all my watches as it drastically improves the look and function and would expect Ringke to make a bezel for the Ultra. One feature that I use daily on all my galaxy watches is the blood pressure measurement. I had to use a pretty complicated workaround to get it working on these and hope that with this release Samsung has successfully lobbied the FDA to include the function to work on any android phone out of the box, and blood sugar measurement would be great also.
I think the bezel does rotate, however I'm thinking that the watch is no longer touch screen that's why the orange crown is there. To activate the voice assistant hold down the action button, and if you don't wanna use the bezel you can rotate the crown & to select anything on the watch you single press the action button. 😮

Good point. Also noticed it is pretty darn smooth which makes me a bit worried that it doesn’t rotate.

Probably not. The bands will look and behave like Apple's watches.
This sht is $1300 here in Australia, which is about $900usd. Thats insanity when i just picked up a brand new 1TB fold 5 for $1600 about $1100usd.
