- UDO Super 6 ambient chillout jam using the on-board step sequencer. The UDO Super 6 is an incredible digital / analog hybrid synthesizer and the step sequencer allows for some creative patterns. In this UDO Super 6 jam I use a combo of oscillators, filter FM, LFO, resonance and digital delay to shape the sound over a repeating motif.

I love how you can go from a soft build up to an absolute nasty chaotic chasm, then bring it back.
I have had some issues with some synths where I have had to reset the patch once I get too gnarly, but with the UDO, it seems to be like you're in control 100%.
You think you will drop fro the Gemini?
I could only imagine what could be done with 2 layers, with their own UI.

Yea, the Super 6 interface makes it quite simple to dial things back while you're jamming, but of course if you use a lot of modulations it's hard to figure out what's been done due to no screen (can be remedied with patch editor by Sunny Synths). I would love to get the Gemini but it is quite expensive. Maybe someday.

Can you record a sequence and play over top of it on the Super 6? Or would you need two synths for that?
I don't believe so, but maybe there's a way with splits or something... check on the UDO forum!
