- Fr. Mike’s answer to this question may make you think differently about God’s love. He helps to re-orient our perspective-explaining that it is not about how much God loves us, but about our capacity to receive this love. If the most valuable thing in the world is limited only by our desire for it, why not take as much of it as we can get?

Dear Father, that moment when you were almost tearing up to explain God's love for us, to me it came off as a moment when Jesus Himself was speaking to us through you, to convince us how much He really loves us. After all, even after being God, he couldn't POSSIBLY love us more. How can you beat infinite love...what's bigger than that!

This is awesome. I am having a difficult time with High Blood Pressure and Heart Palpitations. It's keeping me up at night. I've cried at God's and Jesus feet for healing. I believe in their healing powers. He just hasn't done it yet. I thought "Did Jesus love the Woman with the issue of Blood more than Me? Did he love the paraplegic Man more than me? He healed them right away." Please pray for my healing to manifest in Jesus name. Amen

With every video I am further convinced that we are seeing the makings of a saint. Fr mike, I know you are not teaching "Noe Catholicism" or "pop religion". You are teaching the same catechism the church has been teaching for centuries. But God has uniquely equipped you, at this point in the space time continuum, to convey these simple truths to a whole new generation of souls. I may not be young and these lessons are not new to me, but you have been such a blessing & source of strength for me, I just had to express my gratitude to you. I was born for all intents and purposes, to live a boring uneventful life. I have no particular talent to speak of, and growing more isolated as I get older. Not only that, I am more prone to sickness the older I get, and will eventually lose those who are close to me. I have all but given up on living an ideal life, because I don't see it happening. If this is what God had mapped out for me, than I regret being born.
You absolutely have a purpose. God created you out of love to love in this world. If you have never read it, I recommend the book of Job in the Bible. It helped me through one of the hardest times in my life last year. I pray that you find the hope and peace you are searching for.
Boy I am in trouble. I don’t deal with my suffering very well but I guess he loves me because after so many times I could have been dead I’m still here.

I do think God loves some people more than others and you can tell by who he gives everything too. He allows some people to have and receive everything they ask for and not others. I’ve been practically begging him but instead I get ignored and overlooked by him. My life is pointless and purposeless. I wish I was never born
I seriously cried my eyes out from 130-147... I so needed to hear it.... I was desperate to hear it.
"The more I need God, the more he loves me". I had never thought about this but the analogy of the Shepard going out to find the lost sheep is so good. When i first found God as an adult for several weeks I felt the presence of God so strongly, I had such a connection and that brought me out of the darkest place I had been in my life. Since then there have been times when I dont feel that same level of connection and I often think 'has he forsaken or left me', in truth I just dont need him as much as I did when I was at my lowest point. He has shown me a new path that I am walking and I am back with the other sheep, safe in the paddock so to speak. Great video Fr Mike.

This sounds like roses and sunshine until you actually get involved with someone who God *really truly deeply* loves and you feel the difference. Like any other parent, God does not love equally whatsoever.
@xalian17 I know exactly what you're talking about... My younger sister is one that God deeply cherishes, and the difference hurts so much! I've had to come to terms over the years that I'm not one of His beloveds nor chosen. I'm just here. I try so hard to put on a brave face and accept it, but it hurts so much!

I started praying for GOD to help me love HIM as much as HE loves me and some days I start talking to HIM and just cry non stop not with sadness but I don't know I feel like I miss HIM like i miss my mom or my dad someone I know personally in physical form and some days I just feel nothing and when I feel nothing after talking to HIM I started telling my self OK this is how much HE loves me and I start giving up on that prayer. Thank you so much. this made me cry.

I tried talking to god to one time he blessed me for a short time I was in a right state of mind I started working out I was getting healthier but then corona came along and put me back in the same hole I struggled to get out of my job starting cutting back my hours I had to save more money so that meant cutting costs and the gym was one of them and that lead to me eating more again and having no time to focus on my self cause now I gotta make more money and I ask myself why would he bless me and take them away?

Remember that this life is full of trials.

Are you saved? I'm asking because SOME Catholics believe that Mary can save them. But that's not true. Only Jesus can save us from our sins. Read this bible verse below to find out how to get saved, if you are not saved.

I was beginning to think God loves married people more than he loves single people. Also in stories of people that see Jesus, many of them are married. It makes me sad sometimes cause I see great single people and hope God gives them as much grace.

The more we are united to God, the more He loves us. It’s not just about “ need”. It’s like He respects our free will, that He gave us, and loves us more, the more we welcome Him into our heart.❤. Our Lady loves God so much and is so united to His Holy Will that He was always welcomed by her and so she grew exponentially in Grace.❤ God is Love so Grace is Love.❤
If your going through bad times rejoice!!! Count your blessings brothers and sisters!! Live your life make mistakes. DON'T take the little things for granted, your in the Father's favor Honor himand Honor his creation.
So wonderful to hear someone voice the deepest question, yearning, longing in our hearts..." but does God love ME?" Then hearing a man of God state it clearly that "He could not possibly LOVE ME More"- is all I ever need to know. Felt this confirmation right into my soul. Thank you Father ❤️.
It's true in a way when that person's heart has the capacity to accept more the grace of love from God and that heart is more open to share God's love that is overflowing. If one is given that grace to share that love, it is endless, overflowing just like the blood and water that gushed forth from the side of Jesus as a fountain of mercy (love) for us.Even if that person received not as much love. It is in giving love than receiving it. Mother Theresa would say, "Give, until it hurts".To receive more is to give more, a responsibility that is entrusted to those who understands why the Son of God was incarnated. To be among us, to live among us. To give hope for sinners like me. Thank you Fr. Mike because you are among those people who are given this love
I ask this question from time to time, because He gives me hardships he doesn’t give others around me. Someone told me, because you’re special in His eyes..I don’t understand but I just trust Him.
Bumble Bee I am very devout, and for the last 2 years+ I’ve struggled with severe insomnia, anxiety, and depression. At first I prayed for it to go away ( or to respond to all the meds they tried), but after much prayer, reading, and talking to priests, I now see this as a blessing because God loves me, who was a prodigal daughter for 25 years, but He sought me out over the years, lots of people prayed, and I suddenly felt the presence of God in my heart! That was 20 years ago, and I’ve been faithfully learning, reading, and praying more.
He has given me this cross of depression, which I never had when I was younger, ( I’m 74), so that by uniting my painful cross with His, I can expiate my many past sins while on earth. 3 years ago I joined the Legion of Mary and I’ve also developed a strong devotion to Mary. I feel sure saying the rosary daily has given me much grace. I now see the rest of my life as a gift from God where He has opened my heart and soul to what is the most important thing in our lives: how we spend our Eternity. I also offer many Masses, Novenas, etc. to the Holy Souls in Purgatory, because I’ll need a cheering section when I reach Heaven! I sometimes have dry spells but the Holy Spirit gives me the grace to be faithful in prayer, etc. I really feel God chose me to be with Him in Heaven, and I feel so blessed that I didn’t die suddenly during those decades that I lived in sin. My birthday is December 25 th, so right from the beginning He blessed me in a special way. I love the words “I knew you from when I knit you in your mother’s womb”. As a knitter, I’ve always been drawn to them. Also, sat the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I can look back and see how God has planned my life, including my sufferings and my blessings, for the best for me, so I have complete trust in His plan, because He’s always wanted me close.
Sorry,but many are suffering far worse than you. In Africe,Eygpt,those countries. It may seem as though you have it worse,but no.

fairybits Because I can only share my personal experience as an example to her of a person in pain that has learned to see it as a gift. I was reinforcing what she was told, hopefully so that she could learn to offer up her pain and see it’s benefits.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus loves everyone I've ever hated. God is love.
Sometimes it seems sensing God’s love is a puzzle to be figured out. We can scan pages and pages of you tube videos with God-gifted people talking about God’s love for us, followed by pages and pages of comments from people hurting and begging to feel that love. Please, Lord, speak quickly and clearly to all those hurting, in a language they can understand and with such an impact that quells the doubting.

Thank you Father Mike, you have made me feel a little better! I recently lost my best friend. His name was Ricky, he was a 10 year old Pug. I had to have him put down because he was suffering from illness. Its the hardest things I've ever been through. I really miss him, it's a huge void because he was such a huge part of my daily life. I'm not sure how I'm going to live without him, I'm truly heartbroken! After watching your video I felt better knowing Ricky was in good hands and meeting new friends.

I have pondered this question for some time now, and based on my own experiences, and those of people around me I must politely disagree with the good Father. I have come to believe that God does love some people more than others. I see so many who are blessed tremendously, while I see others with far less and suffering much more with little or no help from God. This is how he world is and always has been. I accept it as a reality and most likely part of God's greater plan. It is not for me to judge He is this way. I do not hate God for this as any parent is going to have favorites. That fact that he made us shows He does have love love for us, but that does not mean it is equal for all. It just is, and that is enough.
Well thought. I agree with you it’s all about the right birth. You can be born to be great and successful or to be abused and suffer. And I don’t believe that god cares that much. One parent too many children. Feels like only evil “cares” to claim his souls.
I feel this same way…He does love some more than others. There’s no other explanation why some people have more than others, including loving parents and extended family and others are abused. He cannot possibly love them the same.
I so agree with you. Also, I find it hurtful and manipulative to say that if you don´t experience God´s love to a greater extent it must be because you have a smaller capacity to love.

why would God still have my back when I've sinned so much, I always feel the love of God, but how should it be fair that he helps me, but not some other people.

I am so super happy with this channel. In my life I am most of all surrounded by atheists and that is so annoying. I have found God only very recently. It was in 2013 when my grandfather died and I just felt comforted. Like he gave me so much strength to deal with his death. So thats when I really knew God exists and I became religious, I became Christian. And it makes your life so much more beautiful. Knowing than God's there whenever you need him. And tru to life according to the will of God. Right now I've been having an extremely hard time dealing with losing my Pet. Pleas keep uploading video's its so inspirational and great.

If you reveal Gods love sometimes you get attacked because of jealousy or hatred, which is why you need more protection, people may use there free will to avoid helping you because of fear. This is why there are many servants of god living alone.
