I mean, A proved, that he / she / bitch can do pretty much everything. And since Big A is a female, I think, that she might be Bethany - or her twin. If Bethany has a twin-sister, then maybe Ali tried to get rid of Bethany / her sister, because Mona told us, that Ali got jealous of Bethany and wanted her dead. So maybe, one of the twin-sisters is dead. And the other one is punishing Ali for that since. Maybe it was one of the twins, who hit Ali with the rock that night. And since Mrs. D seemed to care about Bethany, that would be a reason for Mrs. D to cover for her. Btw, we never know, if someone's really dead in PLL until we see the body.
