From what I could tell, about an hour of looking at multiple different web sources, some math and using an RDR2 inflation calculator. Jack Sparrow's 3814 shillings means he owes ~$29913.42 in 2024.
oh, you forget freeing slaves, that was a crime at the time.
you missed smuggling he openly stated that he worked with them multiple times in the first movie
This day will be remember like the day you ALMOST charged Jack Sparrow!
*captain Jack Sparrow
ARRR!
âHe has to be the best pirate Iâve ever seenâ
â@@randomizedartman00 So it would seem
Jack sparrow
Illegal possession of a jar of dirt: hilarious
This guy has a bigger list of crimes than most villains you've done.
I know right
It's because he has more screen time
What did ye expect itâs Captain Jack Sparrow
â@@fanofeverything30465He also did wayyy more offscreen though lol, they mentioned a lot of crimes at the hanging
I just say Pirate
Wouldnât Jack get an Unauthorized Practice of Law charge as well since he impersonated the Chief Judge of the High Courts?
The first two assault charges can be considered self defense as mr Gibbs was in danger and jack was defending him
However, given that the assault took place during an act of piracy, it wouldn't count as self-defense.
"A pirates' life for meee!" Saw it comming but didn't see it coming
This is the first main character that gets charged but no pardon.
Donât you mean Captain jack sparrow
Captain Jack Sparrow always gets away with everything!
Exactly
Oh this will be a good one, im getting the popcorn!
And the rum. How could I ever forget the rum!
Why is the rum always gone!
Because you drank it all you drunken fool!
âProceeds to discreetly take a swig of rum from a personal canteen.â
A better question is why the rum is never left setting
16:06 Well! That's taking "Bank Robbery" to a new level! They've stolen the entire building!
Doesn't Jack Sparrow (Mcxcuse me, CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow) technically get a pardon at the end of Curse of the Black Pearl when Norrington and Elizabeth's Dad let him off the hook?
1:39 DA PIRATES LIFE FOR MEEEEE got me on da floor
It's not a surprise, Jack Sparrow is already a criminal by being a pirate.
the agrivated assult at the beginning he COULD argue in self defence (yes he broke into the blacksmith house in the first place BUT he tried to be peaceful to WIll before resorting to defending himself
I love how he used shillings for the currency. Very historically accurate.
CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. This video forgot to put in the captain.
4:53 Perfectly Balanced, As All Things Should be.
Me: Sees the title
Also me: CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow
you committed crimes!
Jack: Pirate.
Jack Sparrow's one of the greatest movie characters ever.
Objection. You can remove the charge of first degree murder against barbossa since he was revived by Calypso.
well Calypso aka Tia Dalma can say that he was dead, so it's technically still the same as I learned just now.
3:32 Stealing ships, any water vehicle is maritime piracy, your honor
You forgot captain in his name
You stole my idea allegedly
Right that's a charge against the judg
actually poaching was introduced in 1069 by king william I 5:31
Um actually đ€đ€
Wait, he got charged for organ harvesting twice on the same organ! As his lawyer I call reference to the statute of limitations, a man cannot be charged for the same crime twice! ;p
He was charged for his crimes, he just got away.
Barbossa was about to kill Elizabeth, so Jack shooting him could be argued as being in defense.
Technically, Salazar and his crew could be considered self defence. I mean, they literally fired cannons at Jack's ship, AND killed multiple people on it. Plus, they had also destroyed dozens, if not hundreds of other ships, killing or imprisoning everybody on board.
If you do, Davy Jones, I have one big one for him millions of counts of gross negligence for not guiding souls to the locker.
đŻ
0:03 Ahem?! That's " *Captain* Jack Sparrow"!
Shouldn't that second 1st degree murder not count because it's Will that became the captain of the Flying Dutchman after.
I would've thought he technically framed Will as the murderer of Davy Jones due to how the curse works, but I'm no lawyer.
Amber Heard would never catch Jack Sparrow, EVER
Wouldnât you get a higher charge for impersonating a judge and false imprisoning a judge?
I can call myself a greatest Pirate but Captain Jack Sparrow is far the best one I can't overtake...
ARRRGGGG CAPTION AYE AYE
You can't charge him. Because everytime you try, you'll almost caught... Captain Jack Sparrow!
Day 62 of asking for if animated Disney Channel villains were sentenced for their crimes. + Day 7 of asking for if The Amazing World of Gumball characters were sentenced for their crimes.
Ive downloaded the first batch of disney channel moviesđŹ coming next week!
Its only movies for now, and planning a gravity falls vid aswell , need to get footage first though
You should also do The Owl House, if you got the time.
Great show, intimidating villain, awesome final battle, heart warming ending, and gays, LOTS of gays.
Screw Disney for cutting the season finally to three episodes, followed by canceling the show itself.
Awesome video!!! Also the reason why I asked if you had a Discord is because I do want to Charge the Family Guy Characters, but some og their Crimes I don't want to mention on CZcams
Funfact: break out from prison isnât a crime in Germany. Youâre legally allowed to, cause law notes that the urge for freedom is bigger than the urge to follow the law.
However, itâs nearly impossible to break out of prison without committing other crimes
I feel like him killing Barbossa he wouldnt be charged, because if he hadnt Barbossa would have killed someone else... plus killing another pirate the law likely wouldnt give 2 shillings about
4:13 DEATH SENTENCE
Did you mean CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow?
+Animated Courtroom, KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK, FRIEND ! đ
I am wondering: how is it possible to serve hundreds of years in prison and also serve a life sentence. How does that work?
Just gotta be cursed mate!
Bro my favorite pirate has committed a lot of felonies
Jack Sparrow being the best pirate đŽââ ïž
Should make a video of all the crimes Godzilla since his debut has commited
Next time do if Pirates of the Caribbean villains were charged for their crimes?
+Animated Courtroom, YOU PUT THE "A" IN AWESOME ! AND BY THE WAY, KEEP 'EM COMING, FRIEND ! KEEP 'EM COMING ! ! đ
No villain or hero is safe from this guy.
Grand theft ship and Grand theft boat was nice idea but when you start giving money punishment at the curency which to day not exist
WE SHOULD DO: What if DAVY JONES was charged for his crimes
Should I wonder about the state of the legal system when Bribery is 15 years but Kidnapping is only 7?
Wouldn't unveiling and stealing the heart be more akin to grand larceny? He who possesses the heart commands Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman. I'd say that the heart is pretty damn valuable.
Some odd thought just popped out of my head for some how:
What if Hoodwinked villains (Boingo Bunny & Hansel and Gretel) were charged for their crimes
2:17 me too
5:31 but the marines and pirates fighting did
7:29 makes sense
11:20 GTA 5 đ
15:53 letâs go jack, letâs go!
16:13 wait a minute heâs not robbing the bank heâs stealing the bank!
18:28 more self defence
I think with the lore of the franchise, he WOULD be able to complete that sentence and come out alive at the end
Wait, why? He's not immortal, right?
@pietrocatalano4285 no. But he's literally died, and then came back.
so his biggest crimes in the franchise is him committing piracy!
I think youll find me as Captain Jack Sparrow
2:16 along with copyright (Seriously that was a lightsaber noise that happened)
Try charging Mario And Luigi RPG villains and Paper Mario villains for their crimes next.

*If Johnny Depp Characters Were Charged For Their Crimes*

A trivia for destroying, damaging or wasting alcohol of any kind is illegal in some countries, especially if you are not the owner
Jack Sparrow Best Protagonists Character
Bro is drowning in debt rn
If the Avengers were charged for their crimes
Thank you
didnt know bribery was so much worse than escaping "lawful custody"
Hahaha, I bet you guys had a lot of fun making this video haha!!
You've forgotten one very important thing about CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow... He's a Pirate, mate~
I love how a lot of the assault charges were on dead people
Shooting Barbossa is definitely self defense.
The fun thing is that you can charge even of crimes he haven't done, is gonna always escape
1:37-1:39 Objection. No probable cause nor search warrant. The "evidence" was obtained illegally. One could argue the captain's attire gave the "probable cause" ("Only a pirate would dress in such a manner."), but if that was really the case, 1)everyone should have been screaming "pirate" the second he stepped foot ashore, and 2)he would have worn a disguise.
He was charged for his crimes, and almost hung for them.
I Canât Wait For Tomorrowâs Video! đ
What are you expectingđ¶đ
Idk
ââ@@AnimatedCourtroom I would like to see the TMNT 2012 Villains getting lawsuit from You
The SMG4 Villains Were Charged For Their Crimes Video
@@AnAmazingCZcamsrCommentator SMG4 will take some more time sadly, i had not enough time to watch and understand it all
all those crimes can be summed up to just one word: _pirate._
Finally
I waited years for someone to do this legend
If mr speherical character's were charges for their crimes this is the polandball series made by solarballs creators
The fact that you put in that animals had no rights in the 17 century đđ
This entire movie series is just what happens when the boys all get on sea of thieves at the same time
1:39 "The Pirates' Life For Mee" LOL
Well technically he didnât commit organ harvesting because its already been harvested. It would be grand larceny as it is very valuable to davy jones. Or just regular theft and then calculate the cost of a heart.
How much does a heart cost again? I'm asking for a friend
Ah yeah baby! Iâm watching this and Iâm on the toilet
I mean with that last one you could argue they killed themselves by falling for his goading.
8:57 so long, Davy jones.
4:17 Dad completely agreed with this! R.I.P.
11:05 Wouldn't that be Sexual Assault? She didn't stop him, true; but he didn't ask, nor wait, for verbal consent either.
Yeah, I can't believe that the famous organ harvester Jack Sparrow got away with a sexual assault!
5:36 Objection. He didn't push the man, someone else *pulled* him!
1:23 Objection. Technically "Mr. Smith" *is* how he is *currently* officially registered.
9:14 "It's just good business. "
6:31 Objection. Can anyone be held accountable for what happens on that water wheel? It rotted away from the mill and can't be controlled.
Honestly I doubt captain sparrow plans anything
The part where he escapes getting his head chopped off, you forgot assaulting officers
Was unaware my favorite character ever, was 6'4"
Wouldnât he also be charged for threatening to murder and attempted blackmail when he thought he still had the heart?
I would assume that Jack Sparrow stole all the rum he gets
Hey, "If Pirates of the Caribbean Villains Were Charged for their Crimes"?
Yessir
