    Technically, Salazar and his crew could be considered self defence. I mean, they literally fired cannons at Jack's ship, AND killed multiple people on it. Plus, they had also destroyed dozens, if not hundreds of other ships, killing or imprisoning everybody on board.

    Funfact: break out from prison isn’t a crime in Germany. You’re legally allowed to, cause law notes that the urge for freedom is bigger than the urge to follow the law.
    However, it’s nearly impossible to break out of prison without committing other crimes

    1:37-1:39 Objection. No probable cause nor search warrant. The "evidence" was obtained illegally. One could argue the captain's attire gave the "probable cause" ("Only a pirate would dress in such a manner."), but if that was really the case, 1)everyone should have been screaming "pirate" the second he stepped foot ashore, and 2)he would have worn a disguise.
