I work in manufacturing. The automation that would make that food stuff is most times broken. See McDs icecream machines. Lots of programs are great in a perfect world. But throw in threat actors, bugs in the hardware, and end users, then most software is horrible. Duct tape and bailing wire would be optimistic from a certain point of view.

Having freesync/gsync enabled - the game can still exceed the refresh of the display and then you'll get the tearing.

They did change what gsync is. Freesync is now also gsync compatible when Nvidia tests it and blesses it.

Coding camps are like that. They can no longer make a living coding in XYZ. But they're semi-decent on it, so they teach it. Cobol, JCL, HLASM, TSO/ISPF, DOS/VSE ICCF, MS DOS, .BAT files pre- PowerShell. Forcing IRQs in windows by removing hardware and booting, then putting it back on the next boot. So much relatively useless computer knowledge. Pay me and I'll teach you "history" and other mostly useless schtuff.
