      The Malaysia variant is 2.4M with a sunroof but no infotainment. The India Hycross (Zenix) is around the same as the PH variant with a sunroof. The Indonesia variant is around 1.8M for the Q and 2M++ for the Modelista variant with all the body kits. The India and Indonesia variant is manufactured in their own country, while the Malaysia and PH variants are not. With the Important additional taxes, the PH dealer decided to remove the sunroof and infotainment instead for the Q, not increase the price by over 2M. They don't want that price range because it will compete with the Mid to Top variant SUVs. So for me, the prices of the PH variant are OK considering tax. Not everyone prefers SUVs, especially if you carry full 8 passengers with seniors. SUVs are known for little room for 3rd room space; that is where an Innova or a Zenix comes into play. If I would buy an SUV, I prefer the Mid to Top variant and not the base model, which competes with the 1.9M price for this Zenix.

    Thank you sir Levi for this Honest review. Planning to buy a new car replacing my adventure Mitsubishi. But unfortunately i was disappointed with Toyota's Zenix model. 1st, super pricey for 1.9M, 2nd, who needs Captain chair better with the tumble one, can accommodate three people in the 2nd row seat. 3rd, in other countries they have features that are not included here in the Philippines why did they remove it? e.g sunroof.... For the price of this, better get an SUV, everest or MUX, I'm 5'9 tall but the 3rd row seat is ok and spacious, so pretty much everybody will be comfortable riding it even if you're an average size adult at the back seat. And Again it's an SUV and diesel... Anyway it's only my opinion.. The choice and money is still yours.. Thanks again sir Levi. Kudos👌

    Sa investment terminoligiea called OPEX and CAPEX. Opex means mura pag bili at mahal sa maintenance. Capex naman mas maha sa pagbili pero mas mura ang maintenace. So hybrids are cheaper interms of operating and low maintenance. Hybrid is going to beneficial esp intraffi. Which is very common sa Pinas. The engine will run when ylu release brake and accelerate. And will also help in you long drives. Less gasoline to use. Free from coding pa as per LTO. Am a diesel owner and close to my 50% na pang down sa Zenix. Again toyota is in Hyvrid tech since 2010 abroad.

    We just saw the Innova Zenix this morning, we were very curious, we though that it is just a super hyped up vehicle. It uses a lot of the hard, cheap looking plastic all over most especially on the doors. The doors are very light which makes you feel like it will ot hold during collissions. The V model is too bare, no one will buy it unless it is intended as a PUV. The Q model supposedly has the "Ottoman" type captain chairs but when you use the foot rest, there is not enough foot / leg space. Even the bottom of the front seats are closed so your feet cannot extend well when seating in 2nd row. Overall, not good value for money.

    • @ednis32
      @ednis32 Před 11 měsíci +1

      They don't expect this thing to sell that much that's why they still sell the old innova. The non-hybrid is there to justify the price of the hybrid version

    • @nixp.9760
      @nixp.9760 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@howtosurviveearth Actually this 2 liter engine has been used in some other Toyota cars (almost same as the current Toyota Harrier I was told). The engine is not similar to the old gas engine of the Innova. Our 1st gen Innova's dependability is just amazing, but city driving the thing just feels tiring after awhile. Although for long rides, the diesel engine gives you more torque and peace of mind. Nowadays though, the cost of diesel and gas is not far apart. I agree that even the cost of the 2023 Innova G and Zenix is so close to other SUVs with more features or perks - but the ride height and sort of portability around the city is why a lot of people still prefer the Innova or MPVs. Just my 2 cents.
      I'm actually planning to buy either the Innova or the Zenix. The Zenix though offers better seating space for the 3rd row than the Innova. Being gas, a quieter ride too.

    Just want to point out Sir Levi the Zenix transmission is not CVT but eCVT. I don't know why they even call it eCVT because the configuration is totally different from the CVT. The eCVT has no metallic belt and the 2 motor generators are directly coupled to the planetary gears. Also the Dynamic Force Engine is very advance engine plus they are also using the latest 5th gen hybrid system. Just the design on mechanical parts makes this car already sulit.

      @erostyler6226 Před 11 měsíci

Not everyone prefers SUVs, especially if you carry total of 8 passengers with seniors. SUVs are known for little room for 3rd room space; that is where an Innova or a Zenix comes into play. If I would buy an SUV, I prefer the Mid to Top variant and not the base model, which competes with the 1.9M price for this Zenix.

    Actually sir, tingin ko selling point nitong Zenix is ung hybrid engine. Kung taga metro manila ung buyer, and alam naman natin matraffic dito like in C5, EDSA, etc, kapag ganung stop-start traffic I think magcocompensate doon ung hybrid kasi tatakbo ung hybrid on low speeds.
    So, I think tingnan natin in the long-run ung ownership experience mula sa magiging owners. Let's give hybrids a chance kasi in fact madami nang hybrids all over the world, ngayon lang tayo nagencourage nito sa philippines. Kasi sa ngayon ung mga tao parang puro hesitations pa eh about hybrids. So tingnan natin
