Yakko's like the only guy I know who's dedicated enough to recreate the SA2 loading screen. Even if this video's a total shitpost there's a very wholesome energy about him just chilling with his bros, and I think the SA2 loading screen really ties that together.
I really love how you went to a lot of the more cozy and casual towns in Japan compared to most other Japan trio vlogs that focus on the more commercialized massive weeb/gamer-focused cities
this video is my comfort video, I legit return back to it any time I’m feeling like watching cool Japan tingz, thank you mr yakko one day I will also spend my entire net worth on sonic adventure washing machine
This is so comprehensive I’m blown away by this video being titled ‘to play rhythm games’ it should have been called ‘and everything you need to know if your planning a trip here’
I still come back to this video occasionally. Love the comfy vibes. The dog and happy birthday section is too cute. I'll definitely have to visit the country myself once my Japanese has gotten good enough!
You really didnt have to share this with all of us, but im so glad you guys had a great time and decided to share with us! This put a wonderful end to my day seeing how much fun you guys had!
ive watched this video so many times over the past few months because man i really want to go to japan and visit those arcades. thanks for making this though its really great especially for the times now

that "look at this little dude... he's chillin" really just collectively made my heart melt and my lungs combust had to pause the video to say this, thanks
I'm so glad you were able to go to the Kirby Café! (And share footage of) It's one spot my friend and I weren't able to get to without a reservation. Thankfully the Pokémon Café didn't disappoint. If you're ever in Japan again, it would be worth getting a reservation for!
The ticket prices can go anywhere between 700-1300USD. Just plan your transport and food well, hotels are relatively cheap in Japan since most of them do the by room system instead of by person, and airbnb is a legitimate choice. If you’re gonna go to Tokyo/Kyoto make sure you check out transport and hotel packages like the 500 yen (roughly 5 USD) all day bus pass and the likes. Overestimate your fees, but my trip for about 2 weeks cost me around 2,600 USD. Hope that helps
I know I spent at least $50k CAD while I went to the Philippines and Japan over the last 3 weeks in February. That was just to cover plane flights and train cards for 5 people, not to mention the TONS of souvenirs we bought.
13:09 I didn't expect the recreation of yongen jaya in P5 to be so accurate, I wouldn't be surprised if you turned around, stepped to the left twice, and walked into leblanc
went to japan last year but was only able to go to Akihabara for 1 day. i spent 500 dollars on anime figures that i currently have behind me, it was worth it

This was great Yakko! Your trip was like a week offset from the one I took with some buddies. I can 100% relate that filming a lot up front and forgetting about it midway through the trip is just a thing that happens ...
