Just a heads up for anyone building this its a great idea but keep in mind the left elbow arm for the dummy actually needs to be higher then the right one not the opposite there's actually a specific reasoning for this.
Skalias palm strikes in my experience have been more effective than the chain punch for both offense and defense. He def needs to sit down a bit in horse though
Good idea! But cheap dummy results in cheap WC. Part of the ideas of the dummy is mimics a human body. i.e. weight, thickness. Also, there is certain rules like the height of the arms and their angles. Anyway, need improvement.
It's a nice idea man, but, and I really don't wan't to shit on your effort or anything, but this dummy is ill suited for serious training. The mook jong needs to be heavy, since it must give you pressure and not go flying when you hit it with force.
Wow! Great Idea! but what about the leg of the Wing Chun dummy? Oh btw....wrong technique on the Wing Chun Dummy...You copied from Jack Mace didn't you ??
Or just meet someone close by who can guide you.As a general tip your energy should be going forward. And you should never bend your spine. Tuck hips forward. Keep spine straight. I also once made an "indoor" wooden man out of pvc It was useful in winter when couldnt get to the outside one stuck in the ground. I have a few random vids i uploaded long ago usually called Kung Fu thoughts.. maybe hit them up.. Perhaps observing my random babble or my practice on the similar PVC dummy will help you out. Have a good one!
nathan robinson why does everyone always have some negative shit to say. The kid just did something incredibly creative and all you can say is "check your technique" Fuckin lame.
Nice work young man, Good for you making your own wing Chun dummy from scratch. Keep working it and do not let anyone discourage you.
Great job man! Stay creative and have self belief it will take you far in life . Trust me 👍

That's really cool that you made your own dummy however you have 0 foot work
Actually a good idea. You can use foam to stock inside for flexible training

Good job making one, now take your time and learn how to use it. The Mook Jong is a great training tool.
The arms need more movement on the dummy

punch comes from the center kid... use your back muscles and lower your shoulders. Nice work, keep it up! :)

The dummy's left arm, or the arm on your left when facing it?
Brilliant very nice job
Nice dummy
Lol man, did you really slap the dummy instead of chain punching?
Ikr
Skalias *Palm heel strikes*
Skalias palm strikes in my experience have been more effective than the chain punch for both offense and defense. He def needs to sit down a bit in horse though
lol it was funny when u used the dummy, so badd. But great video still
Got a new version?
Good idea! But cheap dummy results in cheap WC. Part of the ideas of the dummy is mimics a human body. i.e. weight, thickness. Also, there is certain rules like the height of the arms and their angles. Anyway, need improvement.
Good one!

First of all it was jake mace not jack he wasnt copying jake mace because jake mace didn' t create that technique.

I from malaysian
Still gotta punch wood and metal once in a while for the conditioning
They're made for conditioning....not slapping....Ha!!

OH GOD WERE THOSE TECHNIQUES FROM JAKE MACE. HE IS SUCH A FAKER.

You "ve got drive , but your too lazy to find a Wing Chun teacher and you also watch too much TV.
You need to go to a few classes my friend, your technique is aweful, I'm not trying to offend, I'm just letting you know
