I saw/heard all the hype about this mask I really love to try it although I’m sure 98% it's not for me.

Did you have any leaks when sleeping on your side?

      Hi,
To date, leaks have been minimal.
The only ones (or at least the only ones I have noticed) have been just at the corner of my mouth when sleeping on my side.
These have been pretty rare and only seem to kick-in during the second half of sleep, so I'm not sure if I'm sometimes twisting the mask on the pillow and this is causing enough movement to create the leak.
A quick adjustment to straighten the mask have always been enough to create the seal again.
Compared to all other masks I've tried so far, this is still the most reliable, without question.
With the F20, which I still use sometimes as I like to test things, I find myself tightening the straps during the night to fix a leak. This can sometimes result in the mask becoming too tight and leaving pressure marks on the bridge of the nose and to each side of my face.
I'd really like to see an F20 mask that is as flexible as the new F40 one. I reckon a lot of people would find that a huge improvement.
Overall, I still reckon the F40 is worth trying for anyone looking to improve both comfort and air seal.
      I hope that helps.
      Cheers,
      Alan

the reason you have to put it on pillows is because of the smaller tube so my sleep tec tells me.

That makes sense, as the F40 uses the smaller diameter hose. However, my settings are controlled by my sleep clinic (despite me having an AutoSet) so changing the setting to Pillows makes no difference to the pressure settings produced by the machine.
Thanks for taking the time to let me, and the wider world, know your thinking on this.

@@CrackingSleep so is mine and that’s the setting my provider as well as the manual for the mask said to have it on.
