She DEFINITELY understood the message behind this song. Majority of the older siblings tend to have more pressure from their parents in setting a great example for for their younger siblings. No matter how much they're struggling, they cant show it, and that pressure just keeps growing.

I'm the middle of 7 children. I took care of my younger brothers. I was like their second mothers. So I kinda get what kind of pressure Louisa was expressing.
What is most disturbing is how much pressure Luisa gets. I mean *every* family burden what the hell is wrong with them. Why would you put that on a 19 year old. 14 years of constant pressure with no time for relaxation, no wonder she is the first to break. Even Isabella is barely holding on and she has some time to herself. Isabella is lucky that Mirabel managed to get through to her and break her free in time.
It's not just older siblings though. I am the oldest of my siblings, but I actually feel the pressure the hardest from my parents now that I'm a mom with an autistic child. There's a lot of pressure that I'm not doing enough to "make him normal" as if I could somehow cure his autism by being a better parent. I don't understand why my mom puts so much pressure on me for something I have no control over at all. He was also the only grandchild for a while and my mom is a perfectionist, so lots of pressure got put on us to give them a perfect grandchild. The same pressure isn't put on my nieces and nephews though and none of them have any disabilities and they would have an easier time trying to reach my parent's impossible expectations.
My mom reminds me of Abuela. She wants to present our family as a perfect family but my son isn't perfect and that's somehow my fault. She still loves him and spoils him like crazy and thankfully doesn't think it's his fault, but I don't think that it's anyone's fault, he's just different and that's ok. He's a wonderful person just the way he is and I don't need to "fix" him to meet my mom's expectations, I just wish I didn't have to deal with the constant nagging that does nothing but lower my self esteem.
Luisa's not the oldest
I love how her voice gets deeper as she talks about the pressure and higher when she imagines peace. You can hear her voice change during the transition from the clouds to holding the boulders. 😄👍
I love it when Lusia and Mirabel grabs hands and extend smiles when Luisa sings “Keep Going” it just shows to let u know the bond between the older sibling and the younger sibling reminded them that they love you and they will protect you from any danger! Love that part
