    i have a z4 2003 since 15 years. to be honest it's a real roadster, no luxury, pure, canvas top plus 200hp, manual gearbox. the hard top in my opinion is crap. your car looks cool, no question and with 340hp you're ready to fly...smile..have fun with your car and be free as a bird...best wishes

    You should retrofit the LCI flappy paddles and LCI Side indicators. Other mods you should also consider are a Quaife LSD and a Smarttop control unit if your car doesn't have Comfort Access. Also, the 35iS has 335bhp not 340. 340 is the value of Power in PS.

    I have 23i manual. If had another it would be auto. The manual box is a bit clunky and slow, yet supposed to be slightly faster than auto.

    • @christiano8088
      @christiano8088 Před 2 lety

      I have the 2.0 manual model I would have liked the auto but they are hard to come by. I still love it tho.

    • @lbnewell23
      @lbnewell23 Před 2 dny

      It’s faster than the old auto because that box is ancient and naff but if you get a 35i or 35is you get a DCT which is lighting fast and has 7 speeds with shorter ratios so is much much faster than the manual

    That's the same 306hp N54 engine as spec'ed in most 335i right? do you know you could get a stage 1 tune and a intercooler upgrade next thing you know, you're running 400hp? not to talk of bolt ons and bigger single turbo to shoot you up to 700hp.

    Ben I wondering so heavy..
    This with LSD for better cornering ( because of rwd ) and my question is will this car brake out in corners quick.. where I live is like the Netherlands is the same weather as there where you living.. and I can’t choose.. between the z4 35.. or the m240xi .. what would you chose.. because the z4 is a coupe and cabrio at the same and with the roof closed it also looks so insane gorgeous.. but I doesn’t have 4wd for a fast drag by the traffic lights and everything.. please give me your most explained answer.. great content buddy you deserve so much more subs!!

      I'm biased to say z4. I loved the car and miss it so so much. Even though it was rwd it did have amazing grip and rarely broke traction. Plus has launch control, perfect for your drag racing 😜

    My Z4 35is came with run flat tires. It is very uncomfortable and it has resulted in multiple cracked wheels. It’s been costly to replace tires and fix the cracked 19” wheels. Any advice will be appreciated.

      @@be1441 I appreciate your response. I have thought about it, problem is I will need a spare tire and there is no space in the trunk to store one.
      Worst of all, the rear driver side already has 10 cracks, rear passenger side has 5 cracks all very visible. It’s only a matter of before they crack all the way to start a leak. The cost of fixing one crack is $125. It’s a dilemma.
