Very nice video, thank you. Did you have any issues with clogged filter mesh behind the banjo bolt?

Thanks Hay for the comment and support. It was in surprisingly good condition so a good clean is all that was needed. Some people remove the mesh which can provide better flow but also can allow potential for contaminates to get in. Hope that helps 👍

Have you ever had the hot start issue?

Hi Stee, thanks for the comment and support. Hot start issues can be a little bit of chasing your tail. I have seen people change fuel pumps that fix it, fuel regulators that fix it and refurbishing the fuel distributor unit to fix it. There is even an override fix by wiring up the cold start injector on the back of the inlet manifold so you can manually turn it on to provide the fuel to kick the engine into life on hot starts. If you are able to test the fuel pressure and see how much it drops after turning the engine off it might give you a clue. Also check out 924.org lots of great advice from 924 owners that have gone through the same steps. Hope that helps 🤞👍

you did all that and never checked the resistance across the terminals, it could be bad for all you know

Hi Paul, thanks foe the comment and support. Good point you make. I did measure off video before this reburb. I had a reading of 19.5ohms which is slightly less than the 20ohms stated in Haynes. However I have seen these work well from 18 to 22 ohms so there seems to be some flexibility 🤞👍

Hi mate, can you let us know what the company name or web addy is for the company you scored this from. $30 pounds is amazing. I can not get them under $120 AUD in Australia. Much appreciated as always. Jamie
