Impressive, I never get tired of seeing him trying to detect any errors. It is clean, harmoniously complete. Without a doubt Bill Charlap is one of the best exponents of jazz in the world. His piano technique is excellent, he does not hit the piano and effortlessly expresses a fine high-level musical thread. Without the need for technical exhibitionism, Bill demonstrates his artistic quality and absolute mastery of Jazz Piano. Congratulations Bill Charlap.

you can tell he takes great inspiration from Clare Fischer's rendition - never underestimate charlap's depth of knowledge of deep jazz cuts (rumor has it he has an astounding memory for standards, with literally a thousand tunes on command or something... i'm only up to a bit over a hundred in my entire life of playing!)
