In case you’re new here…Hi! My names kitty, I’m 19 and i run a little bakery in my town, Watlington.
Cheesecake brownie recipe:
Ingredients
120g dark chocolate
120g butter
2 eggs
120g caster sugar
50g brown sugar
70g plain flour
120g cream cheese
1tsp vanilla paste (optional)
Method
Preheat your oven to 180c/350f
1)Melt your butter over a low heat in a medium saucepan, once melted add your chocolate (chopped or in chips), stir until melted then set aside.
2)Whisk your eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl, then pour in your chocolate. Stir into a batter then fold in your flour. In a separate bowl, whisk your cream cheese and vanilla (if using) into a runny paste -add milk if necessary.
3)Pour the brownie batter into a lined baking tray, scoop the cream cheese on top. Then with the end of a knife or skewer, swirl the cream cheese through the batter.
4)Bake for 20-25 minutes (edges should be set but middle should be very soft). Cool then eat!

wow, we’re the same age and i also had anxiety & depression quite badly around 14 - but we’re doing such different things in our lives, it’s very cool. i keep considering going to do a bread baking course and being an apprentice baker, this is only encouragement lol.

Great vids, Kitty. Keep up the good work! One thing I wish I could get with my bun/roll/slice/bagel is a little side cup of whipped butter and a knife to spread it. You could flavor the butter or offer it plain, and whipping it makes for great spread ability and is not too tough on your profits either. The spreader / knife and the cup could be made from environmentally friendly materials. Just a thought. Hi from Kansas City USA!

Gluten day, kitty. I'm a kitty too( nick name). I'm Canadian by birth and a US citizen for 36 years. I miss one thing from childhood bakeries and that's a sausage roll. Do you ever make them? I still miss foods I grew up with, one other is a Yorkshire pudding with a roast.

There are vanilla bean co-ops and group buys! Different beans are different prices but I’ve gotten 8oz of beans for $65usd.

Thank you! My starters are 2! And I make a few products without gluten but as everything is made in a gluten kitchen unfortunately nothing is gluten free💗

I wonder how many variations of regular bread you do. Excluding those with paricular ingredients like wild garlic, do you use white flour, rye, whole wheat and or other flours?

-Spelt and wholemeal
-White and rye
-Fluffy tangzhong tin loaf
-Specials x2
-Focaccia
Sometimes I do put rye, crusty baguettes, bagels etc
