- Hey guys! Wow! Sepultura never disappoints! The message in this song is quite clear. and it saddens us. Like Mia says, Why must there be war for territory? Why must there be war period? One thing that we have learned to appreciate from Sepultura are the raspy vocals of Max, we love them! The guitar riffs are always solid , Igor's drums are always leading and tight ( and they have a great tribal sound to them) while the bass line is defining! I'll never forget seeing and hearing this song and video for the first time, it was a period in my life when I'd stopped listening to and caring about metal for whatever reason, not really caring for all the hair and poser metal bands I suppose, endless songs about beer and women etc, and then all of a sudden THIS comes on my tv, boom I realised that Metal music was worth listening to again!

Eloy Casagrande is an amazing drummer, some of the best footwork in metal. He's got a unique way of choosing his cymbals, all Paiste but from different series', some are old, some are new, some are borrowed (he get freebie tryouts as he's endorsed by Paiste) and if he had the Colorsound 900 Series he could have some blue.
His mentor is Aquiles Priester (Hangar, WASP), you should see him play, he's got covers of DragonForce's Though The Fire & Flames on both his and Paiste Cymbals' channels. On his channel he has a red set of Paiste's Colorsound 900s and his kit looks awesome.
Also, I know Igor Cavalera was the drummer on this song, I just wanted to segue into an Aquiles request and Eloy was the better way to go.
My memory is fuzzy after all these years, but in the early 90's when this was released, they won the Brazilian Grammy for album of the year. This kind of music never wins anything in the US, but Cheers to Sepultura!

This certainly has a good, driving rhythm throughout with some solid riffs. Sadly it also has one of those vocal styles I am not that fond of.
