F1 Monza 2021 Pure V6 Sound at the Temple of Speed- Ferrari SF21, Alpine A521, Aston AMR21 & More

- After having missed for the first time the Italian GP since 2014, last September I was finally able to go back to Monza for the 2021 F1 round at the temple of speed
The sprint weekend didn't give me the opportunity to do my usual work, but it was still nice to see this generation's of F1 in action during a GP weekend, including the two championship rivals Red Bull RB16B and Mercedes W12, with Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton's collision at turn one on Sunday being a big championship highlight

The sound of the v6 turbos have come a long way since 2014. They actually sound properly good now not just okay. I love how each manufacturer has a slightly different sound (the loudness of the merc or the downshifts of the Honda). It gives the cars more character.
exactly. They are currently ~128dB loud yet people complain that they are too quiet but in the same sentence praise the V8s that are 129dB lmao
@@nevercommitsuicide if you have never heard them in real life you can't make a comparison, the vibrations of the v8 enter you body when a car goes by, this is just loud and the vibrations are less than when you smash a door.

@@CTcuber4K In my opinion, the V6 turbo sounds pretty good. It sounds crisp and the sound of it at low speeds are amazing.

@@CTcuber4K Yes, they claim that V12-V8 sounds better than V6, and I have no problem with that. I like the V6 more than the V12-V8 (Hate incoming). I like the V6 sounds but what matters the most is there is a championship battle going on right now and it makes the sport exciting.
1:12 really displays some nice sounds from this era of motor. As much as I miss the V10 era, these hybrids have come a long way.
I actually recognised myself in the crowd at 00:49. Have to say that they sound good in person.

Not as perfect and beautiful as the v10 engines but still a lovely sound
i agree, they are good. But when you listen to those V8, V10 and V12 of the N/A era you then think man these will never compare lol

@@gmdascensia I understand what you're saying, the sound of the V8 was not as clean as the other engine sounds. However I hold screaming over anything else lol just my preference
These engine are really starting to grow on me. They don’t sound as good as the old v8s v10s and v12s, but I think they sound really cool. They fit the look of modern f1 cars really well.
The problem about this engines is the loudness.
I've been at 2022 F1 Italian GP - Quali - and at Minardi Day at Imola: in Monza I was at the first variante.
The tone of the V6 is very good, but you start to listen the cars' noise only when they approach the corner, and maybe 3/400 meters after.
Even the F2 has a loudest engine (you can clearly listen to a F2 car when it is on Ascari from Prima Variante).
In Imola there was some old F1, like V10 Minardi or V12 March (the orange one, driven by Brambilla). I was in the straight, and you can clearly listen to them from the Rivazza.
Even if you go to Tosa, you can clearly listen the car coming from the Tamburello (about 10 seconds before the turn) and straight after approaching the Piratella and Acque Minerali.
Before F1 Quali there was a Porsche GTE race. They were SO MUCH louder than the F1.
The sound is good, I love the electric sound combined to the classic one, but the fact that after the Curva Grande it was completely silent made me quite sad.
in low RPMs they sound exactly like the 1979 renault

Honda sound is a better of engines sound.
I personally find the Alpine sound the most pleasant to hear, the video takes away a lot of the feeling. Honda engines look fantastic in downshifts
It sounds so good and nice until you compare it to v8 and v10. Then it just feels like lawnmowners
