Thank you so much for your comment. We had a great time riding, and we find the illegals really help improve our skills! We find the sanctioned trails will quite often have great features and give you plenty of time to set up for those features. The illegals we find challenge you because there is very little set up time for the features. Great training all round.

They are over in the Tokorangi Forest part. Go past K2 and keep going. You'll see the trails.

Thanks for sharing a awesome video Bruno. Far out those trails are very technical. With that bit you was having drama with don’t you suppose to go around the tree? To your left. All of you people are making me anxious I would love to get back into mountain biking almost coming up 12 months I have not been able to ride from a back injury.

You're very welcome, and I appreciate your support! Those trails are indeed quite technical, and sometimes, it's easy to miss the best line.
You're right; in some situations, it's better to go around obstacles like trees if it's safer or if the trail markers indicate that. It can be a good strategy, especially when there's a tricky section.
I'm sorry to hear that your back injury is still an issue, but I'm sure with time and proper care, you'll be back on the trails when you're ready. Mountain biking is such an exhilarating sport, and it's worth the wait to get back to it safely. Keep that passion alive, and you'll be riding again before you know it! 🚵‍♂️😄
