This is my favorite apartment of the ones I've seen so far -- it seems that the designer of the space has actually lived in an apartment, and knows what's needed.
One of the best micro apartment I had seen so far in this channel rent price is reasonable considering the place is almost fully furnished and located in the heart of Tokyo.
Wow, this is ready for moving in! This is what I needed when I moved to my first apartment. I didn't have anything except my clothes. For the first couple months I slept on the floor. I didn't even have a chair. But this already has everything. The price is really good for what this apartment offers and the convenient location. I think the apartments are getting better and better.

This is the best apartment you have showed us so far. No loft bed or ladder. A really bathroom with a vanity. You can shave your face and brush your teeth there. A proper kitchenette and lots of storage space. Much more than in your current place. Maybe the style of the furniture gives you the feeling that something is missing. It is not matching. Each item looks different. In your apartment everything matches that is why it looks very tidy and calming

Прекрасный район (полагаю, все необходимое есть поблизости), отличная кухня, удачное расположение туалета и душевой, большое окно, место для хранения туалетной бумаги, и... никакого второго этажа с кроватью! Надеюсь, Усуи сюда перееедет.

I like the simple layout of this apartment - it's not fancy but it is functional. I also like how it has all the appliances I would want.
I think adding a loft bed would be great for opening up the long narrow space
I know Usui-san likes this one because it has the most important feature: the toilet paper storage XD The room is kinda built like a long corridor, but I think it works. I do wish the kitchenette had more counter space where the unit occupant can prepare meals, though.

Percebi bastante espaço desocupado entre o balção da pia, o armazenamento de roupas e a mesa. Com um pouco de organização é possivel colocar uma mesa pequena ou um balcão para usar no preparo de alimentos.
Eu usaria uma mesa bistro (aquelas mesas altas), pois embaixo sobraria o espaço para as lixeiras de reciclagem.

I noticed a lot of unoccupied space between the sink counter, clothes storage and the table. With a little organization, you can place a small table or counter to use for preparing food.
I would use a bistro table (those tall tables), because there would be space underneath for recycling bins.
There is room between the kitchen unit and the wardrobe were you could pit a small counter-height cabinet to add a little counter space.
Most put cutting board over the sink
It also doesn't have a loft. He hates heights! Last several ones he checked out had ladders and lofts. Bet this one was a real nice change in his book!

This apartment is like someone took my first dorm and added the kitchenette of my first apartment. So I can say from experience that this is a very comfortable and livable layout. The trick for the kitchenette is to get a tray to put over the sink to use as a temporary countertop for food prep. (I also had a tray for the sink in my bathroom. My old place had no countertops 😆)

It seems really comfy, though I would use multifunctional furniture to gain "extra" space. For example, a folding bed or a sofa bed would suit the space better. Also, I'd put the desk under the window and make it foldable, so I can use that little space to fit in maybe a folding dinner table for two people.
I'm not very fond of the washing machine next to the toilet but it is what it is. The price, I believe, is really great, given it's so close to Skytree. Thanks for sharing Usui! 😄
I agree. I also think better use of the entry way could be used by adding shelves and a coat rack above the shoe cabinet. I don't see the need for the chest of drawers as the wardrobe already has some getting rid of the free standing one would give more space. Alternatively, swap places with the wardrobe the chest of drawers could then be used as food prep and open up the living space abit, but i'd just want rid of them tbh. There is loads of room under the bed for storage, it would be nice to have a lifter bed (mattress on a lever that rises at one end for storage underneath the entire thing). I'd also prefer a slightly bigger, deeper folding desk in the same corner and the telly on a swing arm above it, so i could use it as a second computer screen when working, see it from bed, and put it away when eating. But it is very well thought out and I can see why it's been done like that.

-You don't have to climb a ladder so you can sleep
- No toilet the moment you enter the apartment
- Shower room and toilet is built in one room and has no glass walls. The world can't see you while you do your business 😂

So agree, this one has everything plus a few extras I’ve not seen before. If I were single and 30 years younger (and lived in Japan ☺️) I’d scoop it up without hesitation. ❤
If it didn’t have the bed I’d put in a loft bed so the desk could be under the bed saving even more room. 👍🏻

This room is nice. It feels like a dormitory room, but it is the most convenient as all the necessary furniture and appliances are already provided. Probably the only thing the renter may need to buy is a small foldable table to prepare food. The toilet paper storage is large enough to store detergents, washing powders, etc. Nice view outside the windows too, compared to the other micro apartments.
It's a simple but beautiful design. And Near a interesting place!

I honestly like this one. Fits 1 person perfectly, 2 with a squeeze (like if one is dating and planning to relocate, or mom gave a birth to a child and plans to move in a couple of months).

I think this is one of the most functional apartments I saw from your video. The space usage is also well thought out. It's definitely worth considering unless you don't need a fully furnished apartment. 😅
The best one so far. If you're looking to move and this is within your budget, you should take it. It has all the essentials already and is easily accessible.
I liked this apartment a lot! Even with its small size there is actually a lot of storage and appliances that are very useful for everyday life. The only thing I would change is the stool under the table: if you need to work from home it'd be uncomfortable, so I'd prefer to have a chair. But having a chair would take more space, so if you don't need to use the table much, it works just as it is now :)

I'd take the cost of getting rid some of those furnitures to start from scratch if the agency let me.
Id start with turning the bed under the window.
Use a Kallax shelf unit or two (just diy the length needed)I'd use two Kallax shelves, one towards the wall and one towards the front, add inn slats for the matress to go on top if needed. That way i will have storage the width of the bed with the shelfs in the Kallax. I can use Bullig box drawers(my personal favorit) in the shelves to make it tidy. and store say wintercloths or other items i dont use that often in the back, out of sight
Move the closet to the wall where the headboard of the bed is now and add a desk long enough to go between the kitchen cooktop and the bed. as legs on either side id probably use another shelf where the legs would go (turned in towards where the legs go) for more storage
Id also switch the drawer in the hallway and have a fullsized fridge there and either a short cupboard or shelf to have the micro on top or in a shelf unit where the fridge is now.
This way it will feel more open and.
Or if not allowed to throw away stuff. or the bed cant be under the window if too long. I still would build the bed up to get more storage underneath and just dissasemble the frame and have it tucked away under where it is now. Still would swap the fridge and drawer unit.

This is a place I would love to live in. The floor plan is very precise and logical, there's lots of storage space, and it's also fully furnished and ready to move in. The pattern on the wall is very calming.

This video has a cozy feel. Subscribed because I love tiny places, and lego spiderman is a cute idea. The rent is super cheap by California standards, and if someone built a bunch of these studios, it would help with the housing crunch here. With California minimum wage, a person would only need to work about 40 hours a month to afford this.

This is the one! It has everything you need and more and although it’s compact the shower/laundry room is completely separate without having a glass door. 👍🏻💛

Usui...first time I use your name. But THIS IS THE ONE ! Move in ready...and space is worth it...yes layout like efficient hotel room....but still feels homey...price is higher but you in desired location. Many amenities ! I would take this tiny home NOW!
I love this places set up. I love the sink and medicine cabinet! The appliances that come with it are a bonus.
Honestly, I'd rather prefer a blank canvas to work with. It's nice to have a furnished place if you need it, but it's harder to make it your own. I'd always feel like I'm in someone else's apartment. I'll take the over all set up, but would want to furnish it myself.

The only thing I dislike is the old, thick, textured wallpaper. It feels like I'm living in a funeral home, and if I were to describe if it were a taste, it'd be stale morning breath. 🤮
I'd try and switch that tall closet with the dresser. The height of it is obtrusive and messes up the flow of the room. ¥81 doesn't seem too bad.

Hi Usui, wow this one looks amazing but you are right, it’s got that hotel feeling about it but it got everything you need , but the rent is a little high , so maybe you will just have to keep looking for the one that feels more homely. It’s a bit too “full” for me, but I really like it! It’s bright and well laid out, (even seems like a great location![I am not familiar with Tokyo or even Japan]), and it’s the opposite of the insulting toilet-entry apartment; clearly this landlord has thought of everything! They even have a vacuum and iron and ironing board and kettle and hair dryer as well as a combination washer/dryer! Luxury!
If it were me living there, I would wish (I know that it’s furnished and I couldn’t) that I could use a smaller (equally nice) bed, smaller desk, better desk chair, and get rid of either the dresser or wardrobe, but I love having a “full kitchen” and I think they did a great job with the apartment!
To my fellow commenters, I don’t know if Usui-san is actually looking to move or just making lovely videos, but if he is looking, I would guess that since he doesn’t cook much and his storage comprises a small dual-season capsule wardrobe and a briefcase, that he would prefer less storage-furniture, less kitchen, and either more usable space because of that, or the ability to do his own furniture? (possibly a loft bed and his current desk and chair? instead of all the “clutter” since he doesn’t need that much storage?)
When I was watching the first few minutes I thought that this place was like a hotel (or at least a dorm). And indeed you did say that near the end of the video. Love how it’s fully furnished with every thing that you need. The shower personally feels a bit cramped though.

This one is the best one by far!!!!! ton of storage, large bed, great organisation of the furniture, lots of light, it has everyting you need and is small of course but it dosnt feel like a shoebox

This apartment is great! If you have a friend over you could move the table out and sit on the bed with the friend sitting on the chair. The price is resonable, the location is good. This was a good find!
I think this is the winner. It has everything and a sort of real kitchen. Very simple and straightforward layout. Move in would be very simple. since it already hsd everything. Seems like a convenient location as well.
"This apartment is like a hotel." True! You don't want to stay there longer than necessary... bad arrangement takes light towards entrance, shower door should open to the outside and laundry next to toilet 💩😨🖓. Needs full height CLOSED storage. Japan has earthquakes but also great technicians ⚘😉

Same design as I was in my 3rd year at Akita Uni for ¥40000 year 2001. But I like that spacious bathroom + laundry. That wooden closet doesn't seem bad either - it 'soften' the look of cramp space - even though I personally prefer all-white furnitures ; ))

Spiderman loves his new job! :) I like this apartment - they have packed a lot into a small space and it reminds me of a Western hotel room (apart from the cooker obviously). The price is good for what you get. The only negative is that it feels a bit claustrophobic.

This is one of the best ones yet. Very functional and a lot of storage. I would not put such a large bed 😅so you have more place for a comfortable office chair.

I'll just rearrange the furniture a bit... turn the desk to face the window, it just may fit. Move the wardrobe down and move the shoe cabinet between it and the kitchen. Shoes can be stored under the bed. The cabinet can become a pantry or storage for pots/pans.This would give more counter space and more room at the entry to turn around in. Tuck the vacuum into the shower.

Es el mejor que he visto, parece habitación de hotel, tiene todo lo necesario y esta perfectamente arreglado, luz natural, televisión y lo mas importante tiene donde poner elnpapel de baño y no tienes que subir ninguna escalera para dormir.
Me encanto se que la renta es mas alta que los demas pero creo que lo vale.
This is perfect, it has everything you need - cupboard/storage space, washing machine, fridge freezer etc. and not forgetting the most important thing, loo roll storage!! If you can afford the rent then seriously consider renting this flat. All the best Usui-san from 🇬🇧

Hi Usui, this flat is very very convenient. Small (of course) but a lot of piece of furniture, so a lot of storage... very comfy, with a lot of electric accessories, as for me the best flat I saw since I'm watching your videos... And for French people, yes, I agree, Japanese toilets are very high-tech (too much for me...😁😉)

Não sei sobre a localização, mas levando em conta tudo que tem no apartamento e o espaço em si o preço é perfeito!
Só preciso levar minhas roupas, a panela de arroz e a air fryer.
A minha nota para esse apartamente é 10!
Sempre que vejo os apartamentos penso onde colocaria a Air Fryer e a panela de arroz haha. Nesse eu colocaria em cima da cômoda, do lado da geladeira.
@@camilacarrafa7345 dentro da bancada da pia onde esta a chaleira cabe a panela de arroz. Já tem ate uma toalha termica :) Mas esse ape tem bastante espaço!
Eu colocaria uma mesa com rodinhas naquele espacinho ali perto da cama embaixo da tv (é um bom lugar para colocar o notebook). O armario alto de roupas ficaria mais perto da pia (para fazer a divisão de cozinha para quarto. A comoda logo ao lado e no espaço que sobraria (que é onde esta a mesa) uma poltrana ou cadeira facil de dobrar. O aspirador acho que dá para guardar no banheiro ou dentro do armario de roupas. Aí sobra aquele espaço onde está a comoda... e é ali que eu colocaria uma mesa bistro( ou algo parecido) ou estante/torre de eletromesticos (apesar que a mesa de bistro é perfeita pq agrega lugar para cozinha e tbm sobra espaço embaixo para as lixeiras e cesto de lavar roupas). Eu me vi morando ali
Only thing I would want from this kind of apartment, would be having the table in front of the window and maybe being from wall to wall, giving more table space. So that I could get good use of natural light while doing my make up or working on something that needs good lighting. The wall mirror could be full mirror too. I would not need the tv much so there could be something else in it's place. My PC and tablet would be enough. I also see there is small space next to kitchenette. That could have shelf for dry food stuff, and cooking utensils and what not. It's a space you could live and be comfy enough.
This is the best you’ve been to see yet. Extra surface areas above chest of drawers and wardrobe allow more storage etc. towels could store in the bathroom there is a lot extra storage there so more soon for clothes in the wardrobe. I really like this one.

I like this one. It's small, but practical, and comes furnished with everything you need. Price is good too for a central location. This is about the same size and layout as my university dorm, which I lived in for two years (and my dorm didn't come with a kitchenette or washing machine) so it's definitely a liveable space.
Location, location, location... and a very functional apartment. This apartment has been designed or laid out with a lot of thought of what a person would need in a micro apartment. Great place for a student or single working person.
this one is so functional and has literally everything including a bathroom sink I'm so impressed. I think maybe it's because the aesthetic isn't there? You can't really make it your own anymore since it has all the furniture already

Jedynym minusem tego mieszkania jest jego cena, ale jeżeli weźmiemy pod uwagę to że jest gotowe do wprowadzenia oraz ma dobrą lokalizację to cena nie wydaje się aż tak wielka. Reszta to same plusy. Łazienka ujęła mnie najbardziej bo ma wszystko czego potrzeba. Mogłabym mieszkać w tym mieszkaniu ❤

This apartment comes with everything needed, very practical. I would shift the table to face the window so I can look out the window while doing work. And plenty of storage. I think you can do yoga on the floor with the current arrangements! Downside - cannot bring the drum washing machine over to this house.
