The birth of a Tool fan is a beautiful thing. Welcome.
Fuckin eh, right
You're still looking through the window. The house of TOOL is full of perfect.
That's a really nice bit of poetry
I'm gonna make it into a haiku.
Still looking through the window
James Jones Dan Justin
The house of Tool is perfect
Kinda fell apart when I had to write my own part lol but I think it works
Whenever you can find them, use lyric videos with Tool, it helps a bunch to catch all the nuances in the lyrics. Steer clear of the official videos for reactions, they're way cool but very distracting. These guys are amazing live, finally got to see them back in Jan.
Agree fully with this
Thanks for that!
Sober by Tool in concert, He actually portrays an addict in his performance!!
The Tool Army has another Soldiers
💪🏽
You really want to watch Tool, Pneuma with Danny Carey drum cam
Will do!
For 'getting to know' the band, especially around the completion of this album ('Aenima'), look up a live set titled ''Tool Live 1996 The Glass House (Remastered)'. It was apparently their first show out on the album.
I've been listening to TOOL for over 20 years, and this is one of their best songs
Build a playlist. All TOOL fans will come. Trust me.
This is one of my favorite Tool songs. You need the lyrics, Maynard goes deep into psychology with this one.
Also, if you want a good drum video from Tool, check out "Danny Carey | "Pneuma" by Tool (LIVE IN CONCERT)"
It is a drum cam, and will not dissapoint.
Watch Sober Live. Perfect video to see how.complete their shows are. Best band I've ever seen live,.hands down
Yes! Maynard's voice is 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Right In Two!
If you're ready to check out a live Tool performance, there aren't a lot of good ones on CZcams, but by far the best one is their performance of "Sober" from the 1993 Reading Festival. Legendary performance by Maynard showing why he's one of the greatest vocal performers in the business!
There's this kids cover of this song and they play the instruments as well. They are badass and cute at the same time! You should check em out! "Aaron Okeefe Kids cover 46 & 2"
Exactly what I was gonna say
Bump.
Agreed. I think there are 8 or nine kids needed to play it. It's awesome. I've watched that one a thousand times too.
This is the second video i saw of you and im watching you for the last 15 minutes. I dont know you, but i appreciate your interest in TOOL.
Welcome.
"spiral out" is referencing the Tool song "Lateralus".
6:00 - do a double reaction. Sober with lyrics, then sober live 1993 remastered
Tool has them songs you feel exhausted after listening to them.
If you really want a religious experience, play parabol/parabola with the lyrics.
It’s technically one song broken into two parts. It’s one of those songs for veterans like myself who struggle with PTSD. It’s one of those songs that cut through you in a good way. 🔥
You wanna Spiral out? Lateralus is your key. Drums, drummer cam of Pneuma. Vocalist, live version of Sober.
All of the above. Seen each one thousands of times but will always watch again with someone new.
Bang on the three things the video made me think about mentioning in the comments
No he wants to learn to swim... 🏊
Lateralus sucks for alot of people that aren't aware.
Haha, welcome to the Army!! 🤘
Probably been said but the Sober live performance in'93 is a good way to get a taste of Maynards theater on stage.
Lateralus - audio with lyrics. Actually any TOOL audio with lyrics will help you scratch the surface of the lyrical content.
Parabola/parabola is my favorite, if you do them do them together with no pause inbetween❤❤❤❤
Lyrics you must always follow along with all rock, metal songs,
I normally play 4 Tool songs on the drive to work, it's only a 2 hour drive.
This is the song that can make people who paid $100+/ticket feel absolutely ecstatic about their purchase.
Try 700 a ticket 7 row Vegas Justin’s side , pretty sure he spit on me. It was a birthday gift from my wife , of course I paid for the tickets. But hey …..
Tool is the best❤❤❤❤
Jambi is probably one of my favorites
A perfect circle, same dude, Judith
Hey just wanted to let you know that Imminence dropped their new album “The Black” a few days ago.
This is how the album is breaded down.
Songs w/MV (maybe or maybe not)
1. Come Hell or Highwater
2. Desolation
3. Heaven Shall Burn
4. Death by a Thousand Cuts
5. Continuum
6. The Black
7. The Call of the Void
8. Come What May
9. Beyond the Pale
Instrumental songs
1. Cul-de-Sac
2. L’ appel Du Vide
3. Le Noir
Thank you!
You gotta look up the video where a bunch of kids play this song. It’s amazing, dude!
Just as a musician, Tool is one of the most fun bands to listen to. The way the guitar and bass both play off each other while also syncing to the drum is really impressive. The rock solid vocals on top is just the icing of an already delicious cake.
Cheers homie. Welcome to TOOL. It's amazing shit, and I hope you journey through their music more. It always gives me chills. Thank you for not pausing every 20 seconds. You have to listen to more of their art. Glad to have you in our circle. Spiral out, brother
Thank you!
Tool never disappoints!
You've got to do the Pneuma drum cam - it's amazing.
Spiral out!!
(Also I agree with others who recommend you pull up lyrics).
You should listen to Metallica’s “one”
Make sure you watch the music video as well
Falling in Reverse, Watch the World Burn 🔥
If you focus on each instrument one at a time including voice, you can get at least 4 playthroughs of a song and still be wanting more.
Vicarious, Aenima, Stinkfist, Schism, The Grudge, Crawl Away, are a few easy-to-digest Tool songs. Great reaction - looking forward to more.
Thank you, I’ll keep them coming!
You are in for a journey, sir. These 2 songs are amazing but you have only scratched the surface. The Tool rabbit hole only gets better.
I’m ready!
"The Witness" by their guitarist, Adam Jones is basically an advert for his signature laser-scanned and reproduced limited edition Gibson Les Paul Starburst guitar.
The vid is available on yt.
Excited for you, every song is ride and climax will always be there. Tool’s early stuff is aggressive, you can tell the singer is working through his past struggles of abuse and confusion with religion and authority. Their later stuff 2001 forward is much more spiritual, and reflective lyrically, musical always outstanding. live Stuff will blow your mind how good they sound.
Best tool song imo
What Tool does well is layer Maynard's voice so it's like part of the music, not over it.
If you're looking for another nice drum part, aside from that just a good track, I'd go for Vicarious
For live video to react too.
czcams.com/video/u7lweNCCwS0/video.htmlsi=kqQAkTMEn_APA_eB
This is early Tool, Maynard the singer takes his roll seriously when singing the lyrics to this one. You can feel the struggle of addiction in his movements and voice. Jaw dropping performances.
Right in two is a great song
Vicarious is great Liston to it!!!
This is probably my favorite song of theirs. Great choice
Everyone is going to tell you to do the live version of Sober. I have a different suggestion. Do the Salival Live version of 3rd Eye. Best TOOL performance video on the internet. It may be a bit in the deep end but you will love it.
Gotta do Stinkfist, the first song on this album (Aenima), the whole album is great.
Agreed!!
The Grudge!!
You're gettin' there! The spiral is comin', try Lateralus. Then possibly the Grudge. Great react.
Thank you🤝🏽
welcome to your new favorite band.
(i jest, but there really is nothing quite like tool. they're just so COMPELLING.)
One thing you have to consider that takes tool fans a while to realize is that the songs are like “choose your ending books”. I can tell you’re keying on the drums, but try just focusing on bass one time or guitars the next…each way will blow you away
Check out Tool Pneuma (live) drum cam and Bring the noise by Anthrax and Public Enemy 👌
Tool Sober live!
Very astute points you make. Well done.
Thank you!
Love this. My only advice is to enjoy the moment and don't over-anticipate a "drop." Makes for a better overall experience. Here for your next Tool reaction. (It will be your favorite Tool song.) Their "breakthrough" hit on their debut LP is Sober.
Thank you!
Godsmack:Voodoo!!!!!
Watch the okeefe music foundation cover this song. Amazing how well those kids perforn.
My good sir love what your doing would love to see your reaction to slipknot I recommend the song spit it out or even left behind there a amazing band and I believe maybe your next favorite
Keep going my man. You will not be disappointed.
💪🏽
Bruh You have to read the Lyrics and listen to Lateralus for your own knowledge and wellbeing. Thank you for doing these great Reactions. Tool is a drug you never have to come down from.
He just now dipped his toe in the water and you're trying to fling him into the deep end without a pool noodle.
@@tomwolfe6063 Just need him to be astonished as all of us already have been at how amazing TOOL really is.
@@yeshuasaves7911...no he doesnt need to do Lateralus. We know it is great. You trying to pushit
@@tomwolfe6063concur Tom
@@davidward9737 uhm the late 90's. What is your problem?
Heyyyy bro, first-time watcher (binge watcher really). I love your reactions, u seem to be an avid music lover, and I love seeing that! If you want to check out a live performance by them, look up Sober (its the most popular live video by Tool lol) and Maynard's vocals are ON POINT. Anyways, hope you can react to more progressive metal like Dream Theater and Opeth (these two are classic, very popular prog metal bands like Tool)
Thank you and I’ll definitely check those out 🤝🏽
checkin in...
Go and watch Johnny Cash Hurt.. You will NOT regret it... It is life changing..
This feels like true reactions. It's a breath of fresh air. Try Grand Funk Railroad. Inside looking out. Three man band
Thank you! I’ll be happy to check it out
Welcome to being a Tooligan...
🤘🏻🌀
Sober live 93!!!
Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned. Prepare for a 15 minute headfvck.
The Pot is good but it might not even crack the top 10 Tool songs. Forty Six & 2 though is definitely top 10. Eulogy, Aenema, Sober, Lateralas, Schism, Stinkfist, Vicarious..... all amazing
I will vote for Lateralus next.
WHAT A RABBIT HOLE YOU GOT YOURSELF INTO NOW OH BUDDY 🔥🔥👍
Would love to see you react to some Yellowcard, either Ocean Avenue or For You, And Your Denial
Sober - Live
Danny Carey Pneuma drum cam
Branch off and check out the 46 and 2 cover by the kids at O'Keefe music school. (Thank me later)
Once you get to this point you will be committed to the Tool rabbit hole, enjoy every second, and it will spur you to growth you never even considered doing. Enjoy the Ride.
Spiral Out!
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13.
Listen to Lateralus, and remember the numbers.
Will do!
great reaction man
Thank you!
Listen to In Flames and Amorphis

I honestly don't know which one to recommend for you next dude. Maybe Sober live. Hmmmm, lemme do some searching. I'll subscribe to you, and come back with more to show you
You should read through the meaning of the lyrics, u will appreciat the songs alot more!
You're really just diving head first into rock.
I think you'll enjoy these ones:
Metallica - Fuel
System of a down - Innervision

Yo, Lateralus is probably what you need to listen to next. That's where the term "spiral out" comes from
Okay bet!
@@NatReacts_ Just know, it goes hard. It's good stuff dude
I have a lot of TOOL songs in the chamber to shoot at you, trust me. I've been here for 39 years. I have been to 4 TOOL concerts, 3 Puscifer concerts, but sadly I've never seen my favorite band, A Perfect Circle
Sub'd for more Tool !
My heart stays broken because I cant fix what's wrong wtih me... Good luck to everyone else.. Be glad you are not in my life. xo
Tool is notorious for not having good live footage out there. Everything on CZcams is from fans. But check out the live version of sober. It's back in '93 but, it's decent footage and an amazing performance
That is literally the lowest quality live tool video you could ever suggest lmao what was you rpoint even
@@spooderman8064 God damnit haha, your right. I guess I was just thinking that it's more official and not from someone's cell phone. Also, Maynard wasn't performing in the shadows back then, and he would actually be able to see him.
Chech out sober live. It will blow your mind. Also check out okief music foundation version with kids playing this.
Is that Jr. from blackish?
There isn’t a bad tool song. Spiral out
You need to watch the video. it's so creepy !!!
Welcome, we white boys have been here for decades.
Back to Rage Against the Machine, Down Rodeo
A better example of what they really are about.
Pneuma live drum cam
LIVE: Salival / LIVE / third eye ... peace
