- This is footage of a US Airways Airbus A320 departing from the Philadelphia International Airport. I was sitting in row 2 of the first class cabin. Departure was just around 0800 on a beautiful (but chilly) Friday morning. The flight was bound for the Denver International Airport. I enjoyed the flight I must say. When we were flying through Minneapolis Center Airspace we were flying next to a gorgeous Boeing 747-400. Wish I got it on tape!
Stay tuned... More videos on the way this week.
I love listening to those iae engines. They sound like an accordian.
It's interesting how the buzz sound deminishes the lower the climb rate and the higher the altitude the thinner the air. :)
Fantastic sound! Thanks for sharing.
Yes they did. They always do every time I fly with them. Thanks for watching!
Thanks bro.
Thanks for all the great videos! May I ask, why do you travel so often?
Fantastic when you have a good view of the engines!!! Be sure to let me know if you are ever coming back to DTW.... i might be able to get a better shot of your takeoff next time that when you were in the DL 777. lol!
Wow, first class, spendy.
Well I certainly appreciate your LYKE. :D
I'll let you know! As of right now none of my travel plans have me flying through good old Detroit.
Well I know that. Lol. I'm just saying by the air being so thick in lower altitudes it requires more N1 pressure and 90% + thrust but not Max for takeoff. But the higher altitude the lower the climb rate because of the thinner air engines can thrust better without maxing N1 cus they'd overheat so you'll barely hear as much buzzing the closer to your cruising alt. And your are welcome thanks for sharing with us.
Not exactly! The 'buzz' sound is caused when the plane is at near or at max thrust. Thanks for watching!
cool video. but caint you get inot trouble. Im going to LA and was going ot get some footage
Sweet vid dude!
Great sound pratt & whitney?
Just curious, did they give the five-minute sales pitch for the credit card? It seems every time I fly US Airways they do this.
a flight with some light turbulences? seems so
