You find the most amazing things at the thrift stores in your area! The thrift stores in Houston are so overpriced, there’s no room for reselling and making a profit.
    Love all your DIY’s!

I’m 75 and we used to get long sleeve denim or chambray shirts and decorate by sewing on eyelet lace.
colorful rickrack and make puffy flowers using quilting scraps. We edged the sleeve cuffs, and sometimes changed the buttons to match. Fun memories. I may have to try to do one this fall. Thanks for my memory💗💗💗💗💗💗

The bleaching of the jackets bring back Memories, for when I was Younger I bought high neck cotton ribbed sleeveless tank tops in teal blues, green, dark pink and dark gray and would put a piece of plastic covered cardboard on the inside of the shirt and use a Clorox Pen and free hand wild flowers on the front and then rinse the shirts to show the print... They were AWESOME. I gave them to my Friends and Family for Easter. Wow, Thank You for this part of the Video.

Whenever you put the washcloth on the paint inlay, I'm always reminded of those tattoos for kids where you wet the back and then peel off the paper and the tattoo stays on your skin.😄I liked the bleached sunflowers jacket the best!

Highlights magazine! Wow! One of my favorite magazines as a kid, such good stuff in there! I used to enjoy reading those as a kid in the doctor's or dentist's office waiting room, such fun! The elephant carving also takes me back, Back in the 70's, Grandma and Grandma had a special set of wood carvings from Africa just like that in a glass case in their living room. I used to look in wonder at the carvings and be amazed by the beauty of African culture, I still find it beautiful to this day.

Can you do it without a sealer and heat set the paint with the cloth and iron method? Or rather than a paint inlay, could you put a transfer on it since it wouldn't be washed anyway?
Also, you had some amazing bins finds! I love these vids.
