I dont like to down anyones video, but u dont have to do anything similar to swap out your cooler. take the other side panel off and the cpu backplate is easily accessible from there. also, i wouldnt trust factory installed thermo paste. get your own and apply the X pattern.

I have a 30L prebuild that came with an RTX2060; I'm not super-smart with building a PC, so I went with a prebuild.
I looked up what were acceptable temperatures and my system runs ok; I did use Ryzen Master to undervolt the 3700x it comes with and that really helps the CPU. I also replaced the RTX2060 with a Zotac RTX3070, and that GPU runs within comfortable temperatures. While I don't need to do anymore to the system, I would definitely like to add better cooling and a better power supply (the current 500w PSU doesn't have issues, but once I start upgrading, I will definitely need to start feeding the machine more power). Thank you for this video Jeff! SUBBED!

Hi Jeff, I find your instructional videos very helpful! However, I've come to notice that a few other people have mentioned that they were able to install the AIO without removing the motherboard. As a first time PC owner I'm a little nervous to even touch it and cause damage considering it voids the warranty. Is there any way you'd be able to look into how they were able to pull it off? A lot of the IT people I come across on here say that it isn't possible without removal and I'm sitting here wondering how these people were able to make it happen. Their videos lack depth and are more of an after installation video opposed to your step-by-step videos. Thanks in advance!

It's best to get a whole new case. I just swapped out my Omen internals with the Corsair 400D case. It took maybe an hour or so getting things to where I wanted them to be. Bad thing about these motherboards is that they only have 3 fan headers. 1)for the intake 1) for the exhaust and 1) for the CPU coolers. I luckily had a Thermaltake 3 pack with RGB that had a fan hub that connected 3 fans to one motherboard pin. If you want to add RGB or really anything that requies another internal USB connection, you're out of luck. This motherboard is just about as barebones as it gets.

I enjoyed this tutorial for its authenticity and I am going to give honest & fair criticism,
1.) If youre going to do an Ad roll, the speaker should either be not inside the video footage of the Ad or offset to the actual Ad image itself,
2.) I can tell you are using some type of LED backdrop lighting because it is literally reflecting off your skin causing minor facial distortion. Turn down the brightness/saturation slightly and add some ambient back lighting. There are tons of videos online covering this topic but just watch some "professional" podcasters/tutorialists and you can see their basic lighting setup. Some podcasters add posters, bookshelves, etc to absorb some of the light being reflected inside their environment. The eye and optical eye are very interesting in how they absorb and process light.
Keep it up, good job, and give me a video of the actuall tool kit you used, there aren't many in-depths on that subject.

You can’t. Unless you can source one of the Cooler Master HP Omen Water Coolers from eBay

Hello, I also have an HP Omen 30L but with a Ryzen 9 3900x and I always idle with the standard cooler so about 60-65 degrees would this AIO also bring something to my system?

Is your standard cooler an air cooler? If so, then yes it will help tremendously

@@JeffTheITGuy Yes, I had a small standard cooler on it and now I have a Be Quiet pure rock, but this doesn't really help much

@@racer20210 I see yeah, due to the limited air cooling in the HP Omen an AIO works better

Watched a bunch of videos, I just opted to get a new motherboard, new case, and a 240mm AIO. Going to put it all together soon, hopefully I don't screw something up haha.

I installed the notura air cooler and used toilet paper to remove the old thermal paste and pulling the board was simple. I preferred the air over water. Part of me screams don't put any liquid period near my electronics it is bound to break
