Huizen (in het Gooi)

Huizen in ’t Gooi lijkt een plaats zonder echte oude kern. Veel nieuwbouw, veel groen, dus goed wonen. Maar verder saai!. Of is er toch wel het een ander de moeite waard om te bezoeken? Jazeker. Aan de noordrand bij het Gooimeer zijn er diverse plekken heel aardig om te bekijken. Meer naar het westen de bosachtige wat ruigere verbinding naar het Gooimeer. In het centrum het Nautisch Kwartier met moderne bebouwing, die sterk doet denken aan Scandinavische vissersdorpen. Hier kun je lekker eten en drinken bij diverse restaurants. En meer naar het oosten het Zomerstrand en de aanloophaven met een karakteristieke blauwe ophaalbrug. Wij waren er op 16 maart 2024.
Huizen in 't Gooi seems like a place without a real old center. Lots of new construction, lots of greenery, so good living. But otherwise boring!. Or is there something else worth visiting? Of course. On the northern edge of the Gooimeer there are several nice places to view. More to the west the wooded, somewhat rougher connection to the Gooimeer. In the center the Nautical Quarter with modern buildings, strongly reminiscent of Scandinavian fishing villages. Here you can enjoy delicious food and drinks at various restaurants. And further to the east the Summer Beach and the port of call with a characteristic blue drawbridge. We were there on March 16, 2024.
