      Actually LEGO stopped making them in 2003. I found these in my grandfather's house, so those are from my dad, when he was playing with LEGO. So they're like 30-40 years old and the rubber has hardened over time, so they're not really grippy anymore. But they still work well on rocks because of the profile.

      Yes! The BuWizz motor can be easily replaced with basically any motor you want. You can for example fit a power functions L motor vertically. The BuWizz motor is a bit overkill anyway, I never drove it with full power, so a single power functions motor should be enough. I don't think that you can fit the big AA battery box but the small AAA or rechargeable battery box should fit just fine.
