Have a fast and healthy recovery Alex! I’m only 22 but I have two sons (1&4) and seeing Alex after the surgery with the frown (I know it’s involuntary) made me so sad. I can’t imagine how you must’ve felt.
@@niamhmccaffrey1954 wdym? the admiration? because not everyone can open up with their parents. i even still can't.. so i admire that he can show his feelings/emotions either sad/happy/any emotions to his parents... and hope my kids in the future will instead of keeping it to their selves.
I just found this channel and I absolutely love it. Most of the videos I’ve watched have made me cry especially because I and the type of person that cries when they someone else cry. 😅 you always seem to put sad songs especially in the end and when you showed Alex and he was frowning it was so sad for some reason. Anyways I love your videos.
I love how Hannah’s personality is coming out. She used to be shy and not appear as much, but she has blossomed and seems to love being on the videos:) Alex is pretty positive through the process, which is awesome, especially since at first he was told PT would just be enough.
You're a good, sweet, caring, and compassionate mother and person. Your story was quite touching. I hope you, your son, and your family are well. May God continue to bless and guide you.
Hoping your recovery goes smoothly, Alex! I know the pain.. i just had my 5th knee surgery, on the same knee, in less than 2.5 years, about 2 months ago. The last 3 surgeries have all been bone surgeries, which are absolutely the most painful thing. Pro tip - on amazon, there are bags to put on your crutches, so you can hold things like water bottles, money, phone, etc. It sounds silly but they are a LIFE SAVER when you cant carry things. The brand is called crutcheze. I have one for both crutches. One carries my drinks and small snack, the other usually has my phone, pain meds, car keys and money. Definitely a must have when on them!!
mebrandenberger that is so sad hope you are recovering well and that is your last I have a very weak left leg so I often have crutches so this is not meant for me but it helped thx!
I just started watching and following you and your family because I had suggested to watch of Alex and his brother's reunion and ever since then I can't stop watching. You and your family are an inspiration to me.
I love how your family hadle situation I meant like you don't panic you all are very strong so positive, high spirited that's exactly how everyone should handle the situation..Love from India😘
I've been in the same situation. I walked into the hospital, I could walk on both feet was doing fine except for not being able to do sports. And after my knee surgery I couldn't do anything. That was really tough. But after a few months I felt so much better! And I was able to do sports again! That was 7 years ago and I'm still doing fine!!!! So worth it😊 Lots of love from Germany and have a fast recovery Alex ❤
Crystal you are literally the best mom ever. You are so awesome to your family even though some of them are adopted. I would love to have a mom like you. Your family is so lucky to have a mom and a wife like you. Your amazing to have that many kids and take of them so nicely. Alex is so lucky to have you in his life.
Your such an amazing mom! I had surgery on my foot a month ago. I’m still in a cast though. I have had 14 surgeries so I know what it’s like to leave your parents. You are so strong and brave Alex ! You went into that surgery brave and came out braver! Wishing you a happy recovery!❤️ 1like= A healthy recovery
I know its so hard to watch your baby go to surgery and the unknown. Our oldest had to go through a 2 part, very in-depth, surgery when he was 18 months old and that was over 30 years ago. Medicine has come so far since then but, that doesn't make watching your baby go through it any easier. Praying for Alex, quick, easy, and as little pain as possible recovery. Recovery is hard on mom and dad too, so I pray for you guys. You guys have such a great family, extended family and friends that love and support you all. Bless them all and don't be afraid to lean on them and accept their help through out this process.
I have had several surgeries. For some reason, before the last one, I had to hold both hands over my heart. I felt the need to make sure my heart didn't pop out of my chest. I knew it wouldn't and I knew the surgery would go well, but emotions can really go wild sometimes. I understand how Crystal might get so emotional.
Love and hugs for you all and especially for Alex. Waiting for your loved one who's in surgery is really hard. But I'm glad everything went well and Alex is fine. Hope you have a good recovery and not so much pain. Good luck. Love from Holland
Good luck Alex!! Everything will be okay I know it first hand. I’ve already had 2 knee surgeries and a probable 3rd and I’m your age, and after those I have been able to do all te sports back without any problem and I know you will too. Praying for a fast recovery from Spain!!
My dad also had knee surgery! You’ll be okay Alex. It took a full week for my dad to recover. (He had torn a ligament in his knee). You’ll do great! :)
I had a knee surgery when I was 16, right in the middle of basketball season. I definitely know the stress and pain. Praying for you, because recovery can be harder than the actual procedure.
Aww I hope Alex feels better soon. I've had about 32 surgeries from 5 months old too 18 yrs old. The momma nerves are awful, my mom said it was the hardest thing ever but it is worth it to get me better after each one.
good luck, the first nights are really rough but after that you’re like ready to start walking 😂but just take your time! i know because 3 months ago i had acl reconstruction and meniscus repair surgery and you just have to want to get better to actually start seeing changes. rehab is really important so good luck and hope all goes well!!
All the best mate recover soon I know all about knee surgery I just had a knee reconstruction done two weeks ago myself get well soon buddy I love what your mum and dad does for all of you kids it’s incredible God bless use all
Good luck Alex. I hope everything went well for you. I know you are little bit nervous but you will do great because I been through lots of surgery since I was born. I had my last surgery 3 years ago for my open heart surgery I am doing great so you will be just fine. Be awesome as you always will be love you Alex. I will be praying for you. ❤️😊🙏🏻

You got this I know it’s scary I had my first heart surgery in 2017 I’m 30 now and waiting on my new heart I was terrified also and recovery sucks but you have this
I was so nervous about getting botox in my bladder due to having kyphosis I couldn't have the surgery to make my bladder bigger because I can't lay flat so instead of the surgery I had a different type of procedure and its getting botox in my bladder which paralyzes the bladder somehow the bladder and that's supposed to help with the fluid In my kidney's somehow idk it's supposed to be really painful but luckily I am paralyzed from the waist down so I I wasn't in any pain my parents and I didn't think I would be it has to be repeated every 9_12 months sometimes less than that it just depends but if it keeps my kidneys from getting any worse than we'll do what we have to
My big brother had to get brain surgery because of something he was born with called Chiari. It's where the tissue of the brain extends into the spinal cord. The surgery was supposed to take like 4-6 hours, but only took 2. Luckily he is fine. This was a few years ago. Have a great day! :D
I had surgery on January 15 on my ankle and I’m still on crutches I’m so excited to get off of them and it’s so cool to see how similar and different they are. On my surgery I also had a nerve block which they put a needle in my thigh. Hope Alex gets well soon and this helps!!!!!!!
I had a ACL surgery last year and its almost been 12 months since the surgery. It's has been a long and hard recovery. But i cant wait until i can return to sports. I hope your recovery go's well.
I am just loving Alex's personality. I would have been the happiest to have a brother like him.
